After flying from Antananarivo and the long drive in the dark across Nosy Be, we were greeted with fresh coconut water in the coconut. Perfect. I had chosen to pay a little extra for an ocean view cabin (#8 I think). Absolutely worthwhile. We could hear the ocean and had private lounge chairs and a stunning view of sunsets. The room was fabulous. The downsides were that breakfast wasn't always ready when we needed it. Juice and yogurt were overly sweetened. Pastries and bread weren't always fresh. But the big issue was that the ONLY CHOICE for dinner was a massive buffet. My daughter is vegetarian and there was not much on the buffet for her. I didn't have much appetite and didn't want a buffet. I wanted something light. Not an option. So we ate nothing. The bar had some good drinks, especially the ginger one.

Durante il trasferimento dall'aeroporto al Villaggio già si era capito che la nostra vacanza/viaggio di nozze sarebbe stata una avventura fantastica. Sul pullman, durante il tragitto verso la struttura, il Sig. Faed ci ha spiegato e raccontato quel posto meraviglioso che è Nosy Be e tutto quello che avremmo potuto fare durante le escursioni. Al nostro arrivo in struttura abbiamo trovato un'accoglienza fatta di danze tipiche, un ottimo aperitivo e tutto il personale pronto ad accoglierci nel migliore dei modi. Il villaggio nel complesso è contenuto ma spettacolare sotto ogni punto di vista, il cibo è ottimo e sempre diverso, i dolci poi non ne parliamo. Consiglio vivamente questo posto a chiunque abbia in programma un viaggio a Nosy Be e con l'occasione vorrei ringraziare di cuore il Direttore del Palm Beach il Sig. Let’s talk about things need improvement. 1.mid night to 2am there’s construction knocking on going in restaurant which is right beside my room. I heard it loud and clear i just didn’t dare to believe this is what happened in a high end hotel. It’s common sense not to make noises during night time any level hotel. in the end i ran out 2am to restaurant to order them stop make noises at this hr. so they stopped. 2.then again 6am gardener is walking around besides my room several times. I can hear very clearly he is walking around and watering. Is that necessary to do gardening so early when ppl still try sleeping? really needs to train their employees to v some basic knowledge what not to do.
