Ristorante Albergo Corona

The receptionist was very good, but that was it. Unfortunately, the hotel and the restaurant are not up to the price. Unfortunately, the first night I couldn't sleep because of the uncomfortable bed, but the second night I was surprised to find 3 cockroaches in the rooms that hid under the skirting board! Who slept anymore! The fixed menu dinner, for €35, which doesn't even include water and coffee. Poor breakfast, very poor! I won't go back!

I am from Novi and after a long time I was convinced to try the Corona restaurant with friends, having had a couple of recent positive reviews from some acquaintances. I booked the day before asking for a table in the garden, and was told that there was no problem as in August their “formula” only and exclusively included tables in the garden. But when we arrived a waiter showed us a table on the veranda. Except that we had asked for a table in the garden, we were offered a large oval table already set for 8 people (we gave up because we didn’t want to “waste” a table of that size). Alternatively, we were shown a small table still to be set near a hedge. In the end we sat on the veranda. After a while a waitress came and told us that that evening they only had a fixed menu. Absolutely nothing had been said about the formula on the phone when booking. We were immediately told that changes could not be made. The menu consisted of an appetizer, a second course, a dessert and a bottle of wine. Too bad that the dishes were all fish and this could have created problems for those who do not like fish or even worse for those who are allergic or intolerant. Moral of the story: the final price was absolutely not in line with the service, quality and choice of dishes (in reality there was no choice?) and location. There will not be a second time!

Enjoyed dinner at the restaurant once. Truly high level, from all points of view: location, furnishings, venue, staff. The food was really good, of high quality (also considering the fact that there were so many of us and it wasn't easy to cook so well for so many people), great variety and we took very special things. Excellent service. You can see that it is generally a high-class hotel and restaurant. However, it's a shame that the portions were far from abundant and that the final price was quite high. However, these last two negative notes, which absolutely need improvement, are suitable for all locations of this type.

Corona bar, take an aperitif with a cutting board included in the price, it's fine, the surprise after the second round the cutting board was not included if paid separately without warning first, the poor cutting board a few pieces of cold pizza, focaccia, mortadella, vegetable pie and that's it, spent about €100.00 for 4, it's not for the cost only for the attitude,

Ero stato a gennaio a cena al Corona dopo molti anni di assenza. Già li l’esperienza era stata ottima. Il menù varia spesso a seconda della stagionalità. Piatti a la carta interessanti con prezzi in linea . Ultimamente è stato riformulato il format dei menu “degustazione”. Ora ve ne e’ uno da 6 portate e uno da 4. Abbiamo optato per quest’ultimo detto “Gourmandt”. Devo dire che per quanto offerto, con anche un piccole entree’ ed un sorbetto “particolare “ ante dolce, tanta roba. Qualità, porzioni corrette, presentazione. Al prezzo di 35 euro credo che, nel circondario, in pochi possano batterlo. Bravi a proporlo !!

Dopo alcuni anni di assenza sono ritornato a pranzo per valutare quali progressi ha compiuto la nuova gestione del locale : chapeau ! Dopo un delicatissimo vitel tonné , i classici ravioli di carne mi hanno deliziato per la raffinata loro preparazione . Indi ho molto apprezzato la "finanziera" , piatto raramente proposto in menu dai ritoranti del Piemonte , ove ebbe i natali . Esso era la ragion prima per aver scelto tale ristorante di chiara fama . hHo pasteggiato con un dolcetto dei colli ovadesi . Al termine mi hanno servito un sapido bonet al cioccolato e caffé . La Casa delizia i clienti con raffinate leccornie .
