Access by car is required, but the quality is sufficient for a low cost stay. Check-in time was 21:00 and it was past 22:00, but they made arrangements for me to receive the key. The only problem I had was that they couldn't speak English when I contacted them over the phone.

I stayed here on a business trip and never again. Rude host man you had to phone. View of a scrap yard out the back. Air conditioning not working. I didn’t bother with the breakfast to be honest. Shower had issues and had to be contorted to actually work. Bed wasn’t very comfortable either.

I arrived just after 22:00 due to an accident on the autobahn, after travelling all the way from Amsterdam. The owner or manager was sat outside having beers with some guests and he got angry when I asked about checking in, asking me what time it was etc, he then tried to bribe me out of an extra 20 euros for checking in late even though he was still there! I refused and he told me to leave and then they still charged me for the room! He was stinking of beer then drove off in his car, I wish I reported him to the police at the time! Stay away, much better alternatives with customer friendly staff around.

Check-in is only possible until 9 p.m. We were a little late because of our train and so we wrote to the accommodation at 8 p.m. to ask if it was OK if we were late, but we didn't get a reply. When we arrived (9:30 p.m.), no one was there and when we called the number they had on file, all we got was a bad-tempered "there's nothing we can do, good luck." No goodwill, no concessions, nothing. Brutally bad service. This can definitely be solved in other ways, like leaving the key card somewhere. We had to book another expensive hotel at the last minute instead, and of course we didn't get our money back from the Jura Hotel. To make matters worse, the second night that we "finally" got to sleep in the Jura Hotel, there wasn't even shampoo for showering. My advice: give this hotel a wide berth; hospitality and goodwill are of the utmost importance here.
