The scenery of the hotel is absolutely perfect! When I ordered it, I didn’t expect it to be so beautiful when I saw the picture! The room size is average but the view is worth it! The butler also took us to visit the vegetable garden at the back. The ingredients in the hotel are all grown in this vegetable garden.

If you are staying in Nuwara Eilya this is the hotel to stay at! We are a British couple in our early 40s who like a bit of history, sightseeing but somewhere we can come back to that’s comfy, nice and good quality and it was perfect. The decor and style is old English but with a modern twist, it’s a well looked after, clean and tidy hotel. Customer service especially in the bar was excellent and very good English speaking compared with other parts of Sri Lanka. Cocktails menu in the hotel is brilliant - I recommend trying the James Taylor. Breakfast and dinner were good, I think our only comment would that the layout and order of food was a little odd at times but you get used to it. This hotel has a snooker table over 100 years old you can play on in a room with original features such as flooring. You can easily get to all the main sites town centre, Grand Hotel and Victoria park walking if you are fit but if like us not, then Tuktuks are available or taxis. We really enjoyed staying here, it played a significant part to us enjoying our stay in Nuwara Eilya.

Wow!! This Hotel is amazing,the Manager Dilip Kumar and the staff go above and beyond the what is normal service. The food is the best we have had in the past 10 days. The grounds of the hotel are well maintained and the rooms are immaculately clean. This stay has made our trip stunning and we shall definitely be coming back. This is a must stay if you are in the area

Wow what a great hotel. This piece of architecture is amazing. The gardens the inside history is beautiful. There are open fire places and beautiful bars. The calm sitting areas are so nice. We came for one night and wish we stayed longer. The motel is close to the main town so you can immerse yourself in the local life.

Having had a fine stay at Jeywings Lagoon we were looking forward to St Andrews greatly, disappointment is generally the offspring of expectation. Playing up on this hotel’s colonial past comes across a bit artificial to my measure. Like a theme bar. We did enjoy our room, the gardens, lounge rooms. Staff kind. Building is historically interesting. We had a lunch in the garden which was charming. No pool is a tragedy (I understand there are future plans).

The food and the service was excellent to be peculiar Salman an worker had did excellent service for us he made our dinner worth and also the room and the places are in vintage style I loved it and to be honest I enjoy the time being here thank u for the services

We stayed at quite a few Jetwing and can't fault them. This one was very colonial with lovely rooms and the grounds are quite spectacular, very British in design. The one fault was with the a la carte menu. We should have stuck with the buffet as the food was slightly under par for a Jetwing, but they made up for it the next morning with a fantastic breakfast

A Fabulous hotel very close to the heart of town. Very comfortable rooms with a beautiful breakfast. The staff were outstanding. The grounds were beautiful with all the flowers blooming. I would highly recommend staying here for a really authentic experience of colonial hospitality.
