It is a bit far from the city center. It is a very British-style hotel. The small garden is beautifully trimmed, the room is clean, and there is a balcony. It faces the tea garden. It is quiet at night and the air is fresh in the morning. I like this hotel. The hotel provides a buffet dinner with many varieties. Breakfast is also a buffet, with not many varieties. The hotel is at a very peaceful and tranquil location. The staff members are humble and hospitable. Special thanks to Chef Jayavardana and his food and beverage team to provide delicious food during every meal. Being vegetarians, we got enough options. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya.

Was only over night but room is ok, staff are very kind and hospitable.……………………. I tried only soup for the dinner but also was very good………….. Location wise also good It is surrounded by nature…………………….. Thanks and I will come back…………………….

We stayed here while we visited Horton Plains and the Nuwara Eliya area in general. The room we were initially allocated was rather dark and claustrophobic and when mentioned to our guide and driver were immediately reallocated a much more acceptable room. The packaged breakfast provided was nutritious and tasty and the two dinners provided were excellent buffet meals.

A beautiful hotel in such a beautiful location and setting. A lovely building. Felt so traditional and nice. We only stayed for the one night however was very impressed. The staff are all so amazing. We were welcomed so nicely. Had an issue with the door (my fault using the wrong key) was sorted quickly. Staff were also so helpful when we checked out with our suitcases. We were on half board and the breakfast and dinner was really nice with great variety. The room was okay, twin bedded room was a bit close but overall was fine. Would stay again and would recommend if in the area. The grounds are stunning too.

Very good hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms, great scenery, very polite and prompt room service, excellent kitchen staff, great food options for vegetarians, silent, good location. We enjoyed our family stay. I would recommend this hotel for any one travelling to nuwara eliya.
