Really dated old lodge. Bathroom ceiling was leaking, no drinking water served in the restaurant, swimming pool had a bunch of residents who were playing loud music on a speaker, the bar was serving stale red wine from a bottle opened a while ago….don’s stay here there are many other lodges in the area

We stayed at Paara for three nights. The staff was excellent! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was great, especially their soup! The staff was very attentive and met you in the morning in the lobby with early coffee, for those early morning game drives. I would definitely stay here again

This hotel sat in a lovely location. Beautiful views. Not a modern hotel but it is very comfortable and everywhere is very clean. The staff were extremely helpful. The buffet was very good great selection. The bar was comfortable and service very good. The outside area was lovely with a lovely pool

Great hotel - large spacious rooms. Amazing outside space. Lovely gardens. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Highly recommended. It was the gateway to an amazing adventure in Ugandas Murchison Falls and the beginning of a great holiday

My friend and I stayed at Paraa for 2 nights in August. The lodge was well located with each room having a beautiful view of the Nile River! The lodge has a beautiful pool and bar area overlooking the river as well. The location was super convenient for exploring Murchison Falls NP – we saw lions with a kill just 5 minutes from the lodge, and elephants walking through the staff lodging! The staff at Paraa was great and always greeted us with a warm welcome home! The only constructive feedback would be that the food was just okay – it was buffet style which sometimes left it not as warm as I would prefer, and I would have loved more protein options. But definitely not a deal breaker, I would stay here again without hesitation!

A nice enough hotel for an overnight. We stayed for three nights. Great laundry service, great pool, but the food was the same buffet every day for both Lunch and Dinner. They need more variety. The staff works hard, and the grounds are nice but how much Dal can one person eat?

We loved our stay at this lodge that is right on the Nile River! I loved the decor, especially the balcony. The people were very kind and accommodating. The buffet meals were fantastic with lots of choices. We also enjoyed the pool which has a swim up bar if you want. The Murchison Falls was amazing, as well as the trip up the Nike to see the bottom of the falls with hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and lots of birds on the way. There is a sausage tree out front which was interesting because the locals can use the fruit for a pain killer for the back, but the elephants can get intoxicated from it! It had a nice souvenir shop with homemade crafts, t-shirts, etc. We got to see lions with our guide from Devine Safaris! I would definitely recommend this lodge.

Had a brilliant stay at Paraa lodge when visiting with the Uganda Conservation Foundation. Enjoyed the lodge location near the river within the beautiful Murchison Falls National Park, also being quite close to the river cruise jetty, the food was great and the service was excellent, the rooms were very clean, and an amazing swimming pool. The GM introduced himself to us and made sure we were enjoying our stay. Hope to be back soon. Thank you!

- The smoothest experience for a peaceful getaway. - The staff is supportive and always attentive to your needs. - Early morning game drives were easily the highlight of my days, there a vast park and knowledgeable guides to help you navigate the open Savanah.
