I held my husbands special birthday at Oakley Hall Hotel this weekend (10th August 2024) as this was where his Boarding school was from 1968-1973. I can not express how organised his celebrations were! My contact was Jenna Penhallurick from the start and highly recommend her organisations skills. Jenna was quick to reply to my enquiries and ensured the weekend went well. On the night my contact was Charlie who again was so helpful and highly organised as I was a little worried as there was a BIG event in the same room before ours and could not fault the turn around to make the room beautiful for my guests. All my guests could not fault the hotel, staff, grounds and the scrumptious food presented beautifully. On departure the manger Noel was very helpful and kind. So if you are thinking of a wedding, party or just a stay then I would give this 5 stars. If only it had a pool and gym facilities then I would stay for a weeks holiday. The grounds are beautiful to take a stroll around. There is a kitchen garden, stunning trees and a cute little cottage. We will definitely be back just for a weekend break in the countryside

The Hotel was lovely, situated in a beautiful setting and on arrival it all looked very grand. The rooms were comfortable and roomy, all the staff we spoke to were very professional, helpful and friendly. A little gem of a hotel, highly recommended if you are in this area and want a touch of luxury, you won't be disappointed.

We attended the New Year’s Eve function which on the whole was a good night although somewhat over priced.Evening meal was good enough for mass catering was hot service was good.we booked a executive room which when we arrived was told it was in the court yard. Wasn’t expecting that .The Room tired furniture,cold room windows rattled and blew a gale through them.Heating did not work in dressing room and hot water in shower never got hot .We conveyed our issues at reception but to no avail.Room was poor wouldn’t return so be aware of the court yard executive room

This is just as it should be - charming, elegant, and good value. A lovely property with wonderful and charming staff. W have staying and had dinner a couple of times - I’d say the food is better than expected - the rooms are spacious and spotless and the staff are better than they need to be. We’ll be back soon.

I went to the Glasshouse restaurant with a friend of mine today. Had the most awful service. We both had a sandwich from the light bites menu it was very disappointing my friends sandwich had barely any filling(the red pepper sandwich . Mine was smoked salmon it was a little better. We thought it was very expensive and not good value for the sandwich and a pot of tea. £20 per head. Won’t be rushing back

Took my mum for afternoon tea. All staff were so nice and helpful. We shared one afternoon tea plus another cup of tea as my mum spent eat too much. My mum had a great time. Will visit again. Special thanks to the waiter “driss laroussi who made my mum feel special.

We visited Oakley Hall for my Dad’s 80th. We had booked in for lunch. Wow!! Food was absolutely amazing! We could have cut the roast beef with a spoon it was so tender! Everything had such flavour! Service was excellent. Lovely atmosphere! Had an amazing time and have now booked to go for afternoon tea in January. Highly recommend!
