My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dining experience in the Isle of Eriska Hotel in this most beautiful part of the west of Scotland, north of Oban. From our cocktails in the cosy bar, served with Hors d’ oeuvres, followed by Amuse Bouche and dinner in the restaurant, the superb quality of the food was amongst the best we have experienced. All the staff we met were extremely professional, polite, knowledgeable and welcoming, a credit to the hotel and management. We look forward to many more future visits in 2025 and beyond.

Fabulous place, great walks, quiet, beautiful, excellent service and the Victorian Suite is incredible, with a glass ceiling and an open fire. The spa and pool are very pleasant. The staff were so helpful, and gave us a tour of the whole island in the hotel’s 4x4, a book and a beautiful print of the building in acknowledgement that our ancestors used to own the place. Despite our family having sold it nearly one hundred years ago, the receptionist, Cathy (sp?) recognised the surname immediately. A special occasion was made even more special.

Fabulous service from everyone in the hotel . Great room, great food. Fabulous surroundings and lovely to walk around. Wellies needed! Lots of lovely wildlife to spot. Brilliant speakers in room to stream your music . Lovely big bathrooms. Great beds with lovely duvets and pillows Spa was just ok, only 6 seats/recliners at poolside which were all taken, so we had to sit on pool edge when not in the sauna/steam. Could boil potatoes in the jacuzzi , was very hot , no water in the dispenser and we were only told about the relaxation room on way out. this would have been a perfect place to sit as the poolside ones were occupied. Ladies, hairdryers in changing rooms are awful. The old fashioned pipe with a nozzle that blows very little air. Thankfully the ones back in the hotel rooms are great. All in all, a lovely hotel & island

We stayed at the Isle of Eriska for my birthday and it was wonderful! The junior suite was beautiful, huge and very well maintained. The only thing that would improve would be a mini fridge for water etc. Dinner on in the restaurant was nice, but service a little slow at times - especially when another guest had complained and they became the main focus while we (and everyone else) had to wait quite a while. Breakfast was fantastic, and a special shout out to the assistant GM who was incredibly helpful and even arranged for late check out for us so we could enjoy the hotel further. We’re definitely planning on returning, hopefully in the summer months to enjoy the full island and making the most of it during the lighter evenings. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

what a find! beautiful hotel in fantastic location.. arrived to be given a complementary upgrade to a fabulous room with four poster bed over looking the gardens. the newly refurbished spa was outstanding.. The walk around the island was stunning and so peaceful.. the resident highland coos were a treat still to find the otters .. lovely restaurant with lounge with open coal fire.. staff were very professional and helpful hopefully return again in the future.

Just ended our wonderful stay. I’m so sad we had to go and wished we’d stayed an extra night here! I can’t speak highly enough of the staff here, everyone was excellent and so attentive of both us and our 8 month old. Going out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful and relaxed stay. Each morning our table was set up with a high chair ready to go. Our son was able to go swimming with me in the pool which was lovely. I had an excellent facial which was so relaxing and my husband walked our son around the extensive grounds and saw, goats, donkeys, ponies and took him all the way to the beach so our son got a lot out of the day without even leaving the island. We ate both in the deck restaurant (in the last night before it closed for winter) and in the main fine dining restaurant. At our request the staff sat us away from other guests in a more private area because we had our son with us but we still felt as though we had a fine dining experience and the food was delicious!

The Isle of Eriska is a bucolic Scottish dreamland. The Hotel is ultra cozy in the ultimate beauty of country charm. The staff is a Dream Team of skill and friendliness second to none. Everyone made me feel comfortable in every way. Activities I wanted were arranged: fishing, clay pigeon shooting and archery. I thank all staff members, however, Callum stole my heart. I highly recommend this beautiful and unique place to enjoy nature and loving care.
