Defintely a great place to go, not to stay. Very nice panorama and environment, service has some room for improvement, I had the impression they split customers in categories (daily torists / residents). Most probably having a good insurance as they not really caring about moving away snow and / or ice.

This was a delight! The location marvelous Mountain View’s. The chef delivered some standard items BUT with extraordinary pizzaz. Complex spices and precise cooking techniques made this unforgettable dinner experience. I will be back next time.

Max a 3 star house with small rooms, mediocre food, high prices & horrible service. Typical tourist trap - avoid. Only plus is the sun terrace for a drink. Waited 2 hrs for starters at dinner, food was below average at premium prices. Desert buffet was empty, when we were sent there. Staff offered drink to apologies, that never came. Staff felt it wasn’t their responsibility. Panorama room had a small window and was no wider than 4m. Don’t pay more than 150 CHF for a double with breakfast. Better don’t stay here at all. H4 or The Krone directly in Solothurn are far better choices.

Dining at Hotel Weissenstein was a fantastic experience! The ambiance was elegant, and the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive and made sure every detail was perfect. I felt truly welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the Weissenstein Hotel was absolutely fantastic. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. All of the staff were delightful - particularly Rab and Samuel in the restaurant. We enjoyed a beautiful 4 course meal. Breakfast was outstanding. Highly recommend, only wish we could have stayed longer!

We have visited the hotel and restaurant (family reunion). We had a great stay, food was delicious and service was great. Everyone loved the hotel rooms, which were all refurbished and spacious for a family of 4. Dinner was great and so was the breakfast. We can recommend and will return.

We went to this hotel to have lunch before our light hike around this area. The service was excellent. The waiter, Mehmet, did a wonderful job. We love how he interacts with the guests and he pays attention to the details. The food was tasty and lovely. Would definitely recommend to stop by here for a bite.

Wonderful location and very good restaurant with ok service, good beds BUT how to justify the prices when the room we had - and apparently most others - had barely any space (no closet) to store clothing. Even worse the bathroom was so badly designed that the shower inundated half of the room because the shower head was impossible to adjust and the curtain 5 inches too short. Needed most towels to sop up the water which did not go into the drain and that in supposedly perfect Switzerland even providing danger of slipping badly.
