I had a fantastic stay at the Goldener Adler in Oberried, Germany. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself was both comfortable and well-maintained, with modern, clean facilities that made our stay very enjoyable. Located in a picturesque small town, the scenery was stunning, and the quiet surroundings added to the relaxing atmosphere. With a bus station conveniently located right in front of the building, it was easy to reach the train station and explore the area. The restaurant was an absolute highlight of our stay. The food was exceptional—some of the best we had throughout our entire vacation. The chef and his team demonstrated their talent in every dish, delivering an unforgettable dining experience. I would highly recommend the Goldener Adler to anyone traveling to the area; it’s a perfect place to enjoy comfort, great service, and delicious food.

A really lovely hotel , in a great location for the Black Forest. The people in the hotel where lovely and friendly and always helpful. The food was great as well , both breakfast and evening meals. We stayed in the modern building and the rooms where great quality and would recommend them, also in the building it had a great wellness area.

Friendly and helpful staff speaks English and/or French. Classic German style food. Located close to Freiburg and to Black Forest summits. Spacious room with double bed. Only caveat: light chlorine bleach odour in bathroom. Anti-Covid measure?

We treated ourselves to this great accommodation for our last vacation in 2024. Such a great house with a modern guest house that we were allowed to stay in. We had an apartment that lacked nothing. Very spacious and modernly furnished. The wellness area is beautiful. The half board started in the morning with an excellent breakfast buffet. In the evening there was a very varied menu. The cuisine is excellent. We would love to come back. Best wishes from the Lower Rhine.

We were able to celebrate our 60th birthday in the barn at the Adler. We were given an exceptionally friendly welcome by the owners, and everything was done to make this celebration an outstanding event. We can only express our sincere thanks for this. The food was excellent and the quality could not be surpassed. We and our guests really enjoyed the overnight stay in the beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms. The owners and the waiters were incredibly friendly and also contributed to making this celebration an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful sauna area, wonderful for relaxing and feeling good, also in the adjacent stream ;-). Always happy to come back! Everything in the Goldener Adler from the rooms to the food and the incredible hospitality is more than good, therefore more than recommended.

Ordered Comfort Room A!!! Got an ancient, musty room. The musty smell is almost unbearable. When you're looking forward to a nice room after a long journey and stressful business meetings and then you get something like this. On a positive note, I was able to check out.
