although it is a smoking free hotel, our room smelled like cigarettes smoke! the waiter (bold hair, black shirt and pants) was very rude at the dinner. as we booked halbpension, i thought that the whole buffet is included, i did not know that the small buffet by the piano is exclusively prepared for the ski group, so i wanted to scoop some mashed potatoes for my daughter. he started to yell at us. my daughter ended up crying for the potatoes and he did not bother to apologize! we've been guests of this hotel for several years but i think he already made me rethink it.

I loved my stay in Alpenhotel Oberstdorf, Outside the town, for relaxing time to spend. Room was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was a wide range of food, which I liked. Also dinner has a buffet with vegetables , salads ,breads and desserts, moreover you could order your main from a la carte menu. It has a pool on the ground floor and massage room, plus a bar. All in all, a lovely place to relax and spend your holiday.

Wie haben uns im Alpenhotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr gut und bot alles, was wir benötigten. Vor allem das Bergpanorama hat uns Tag und Nacht begeistert. Das Essen war vielseitig, die Auswahl super und schmeckte sehrsehr gut. Der Spa, Sauna und Schwimmbad würden von uns täglich genutzt - Wellness pur!

Wir verbrachten drei Nächte im Alpenhotel Oberstdorf. Insgesamt hat es uns gut gefallen, vor allem die Freundlichkeit im Service ist hervorzuheben! Auch die Sauberkeit des Zimmers und des kleinen Wellnessbereichs hat uns gefallen, ebenso die Einrichtung im Zimmer und im Hotel insgesamt. Nicht ganz so gefallen hat uns, dass das Zimmer für die von uns gebuchte Kategorie doch kleiner als auf der Homepage und in der Reservierungsbestätigung angegeben war. Außerdem hat uns eine Wellness-Tasche, wie sie in anderen 4-Sterne-Hotels üblich ist, gefehlt, sodass man seine Utensilien wie Bücher usw. umständlich tragen musste. Das Abendessen war gut, jedoch war das Buffet etwas unübersichtlich, vor allem weil Aufsteller mit dem Namen des Gerichtes fehlten. Teilweise hatte man schon so ein "Kantinen-Gefühl". Schade! Von Profis auf dem Teller angerichtete Speisen wirken einfach besser! Wie gesagt, insgesamt haben wir uns - auch dank des wirklich zuvorkommenden, freundlichen und gut gelaunten Service-Personals - wohl gefühlt! Die Lounge und das Restaurant mit ihren großen Fenstern bieten tolle Ausblicke in die Umgebung von Tiefenbach.

Für neue Gäste sollten mehr Informationen betreffend Wandergebiete, Erreichbarkeit usw. zur Verfügung stehen. Viele Gäste sind auch erstaunt, dass sie doch so weit entfernt von Oberstdorf sind.
