It was great to be able to close off our room from the kids for privacy, but there is only 1 thermostat and I pretty much froze out my kids because I like to sleep cold. Positives: Room comfort, cleanliness, able to close off to separate rooms, full kitchen, large balcony, location, elevators numerous and working fast, double sinks in the bathroom Negatives: Single thermostat doesn't allow for different sleeping temperatures in a room that can be closed off into 2 different areas, closing the kids pool so early in the day on hot August days makes no sense (I am sure it is a lifeguard issue) and the other pool is not available late either and doesn't have the hot tub (over at the kiddie pool instead), the adult meals that are part of the meal package are stupid small and limited items, high jacuzzi tub threshold makes it difficult for seniors to get into the shower. I don't need a handicap accessible room, but it was hard getting in and out of the shower. Wifi can't handle the load during peak hours

Nice mid-town location. In house restaurant was super convenient. We stayed in the winter and used the indoor pool and game room. All the staff we encountered were super nice and gave the kids hot chocolate, which I thought was sweet. Older hotel which shows in the hallways, but the room interior has some updates and seems super clean overall. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need! For the price it was perfect! Will absolutely stay again!

The tiki bar is on point. The breakfast was good but ran out of stuff by 9:00 an was told you have to get here early because some people take 5/6 plates back to the room. I would 100% recommend bay side the sunset was worth all the money. Don’t try to check in early they will push you off till close till 3:00. Overall would stay again an would recommend

We were in room 335. We had almost zero water pressure in the shower and the shower squealed like a hot tea kettle the entire time we were using it. The front right burner on the stove didn’t work and the bottom element on the oven also did not work. Maintenance came and looked at it. He was very nice but said they don’t have any replacements. He suggested just using it on the broil setting. Due to this we lost money on some of the groceries that we bought and couldn’t cook. There were some stains on the carpet. Our room was very noisy due to being right near some sort of ventilation system. We got groceries delivered and the delivery service was upset because there was only outdoor access to our side of the hotel with no elevator. Saunas were not open. One of the hot tubs was barely warmer than room temperature our entire stay. The other one was nice. One of the staff members was rude to my teenaged daughter and her friend when they got locked out and needed another key. Location was very nice. All of the other staff were nice. Slushees at the bar we’re good!

This is our go to hotel in OC, clean and directly on the beach. The hotel is safe and there is plenty of parking. Pool bar and food was good with a nice staff. There is also a Starbucks coffee shop in the lobby which was handy. Hotel is on the expensive side but it delivers a good experience.

If u travel with ur fur kiddo, this is the hotel u want to stay. Very pet friendly! In summer peak time, dogs are not allowed to be on the ocean city beach, so I used to take my dog to Assateague national park for my dog to have some fun on the beach. But I don't need to go all the way to Assateague anymore. Bed was very plush(I like firm bed), but it was so comfortable! Complimentary hot coffee was good enough to save my time to drive looking for coffeeshop outside of hotel. It was the best hotel experience with my furkid ever!

My family and I always stay here. I was even there in April. I came this time solo because I was in the hospital for a couple of days and needed a break. I walked in and was greeted by a nice young lady. As she was checking me in I noticed a man(Chad Brewer) hovering over her shoulders. He kept calling her ”girl,” He then proceeded to take over the check-in process. He talked to me as if he was trying to accuse me of doing something. I have stayed here multiple times and never have I ever felt the way he made me feel. I felt like I was being racially profiled. I might have looked tired and had marks all over my arms(from the IV in the hospital) but I have always loved coming here except for this time. I asked for an upgrade to the bayside. (I was given a street view). Very Loud! Everyone else that worked there was friendly. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good.

Excellent beachfront hotel. My family visits Ocean City every year and normally stays on the northern side of town. We decided to take a chance on a hotel off of the boardwalk and we are so glad we did. This will be our go too place for future Ocean City visits. The staff was great! A special thanks to NeKeah, Danielle and Abbigail, they were awesome and made our stay terrific. They greeted me every day by name and were there to assist us whenever needed.

Everything was great! ”Peaches” was our check in girl and she was so sweet and kind. Above and beyond welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable except the beds are a little bit firm. Staff were knowledgable with every question we asked throughout our stay. The walk to the beach is quicker then it takes the red light to change. On check out day we asked if it would be ok if we left the car in the parking lot and hang out at the pool for a few hours before heading home, and they were perfectly cool with that. the roof top pool is so nice with a bar and constant breeze. We reserve a ”Bay front” room, but we unexpectedly had a really nice view of the bay from our room. These are the reasons I've been coming back the Princess Bayside for years.
