Literally the best BNB experience anyone could have. Linda and Jeff bring their years experience of being accomplished executive and pastry chef's. The morning breakfast and fresh pastries along with the fresh coffee blends were simply to die for. Our room was cozy right down to the bed and pillows. Water pressure and hot water was constant and strong. Also take the time to enjoy the garden area and play with Avalon a sweetheart of a golden retriever their doggy. Definitely will stay here again.

Beautiful room with comfortable bed and heated floor in the bathroom (great solution to tiled floors!). The bathtub was sooo welcome after a long day of exploring the Delmarva peninsula. Breakfast was delicious, and the backyard entertainment of birdwatching and squirrel antics was especially fun. Hosts were so pleasant and welcoming, including Avalon the dog! Linda’s a great baker, so snacks are always on hand. We’re looking for an excuse to go back.

Exceptionally clean bed and breakfast! The gardens and neighborhood were beautiful. Our hosts prepared a delicious breakfast. We will return during our next trip to the Outer Banks. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

Breakfasts were great. Well-planned and -made, great tasting, and generous. Room and bed were comfortable and very pleasant. Bathroom was well designed, clean, and efficient. Debi and Bob were friendly, helpful, thoughtful, and comfortable to be around.

I don’t often write reviews, but if I stumble on something fabulous in my travels, I usually try to pass the information along. After all, I appreciate other people’s reviews so I hope you’ll appreciate mine. We stayed at the Miller-Dunham House on Memorial Day weekend. It had been highly recommended by my son who stayed there and raved about it. The house is tucked away on a country road, easy parking in the back. Walking in the front door is like walking into your grandmother’s house with delicious smells coming from the kitchen. More about that later. The lovely couple that run this place should be giving a course in how to run a B &B. They’ve done everything right. The room we stayed in was bright, spacious, immaculate, attractively decorated with a comfy king bed, nice linens, easy to open windows, and modern AC which we didn’t need. Our en suite bathroom was clean, renovated and stocked with fluffy towels and very nice soaps and body cream. Oh, and did I mention the heated floor in the bathroom? Breakfast is included in the price of the room, and trust me, this breakfast is incredible. You will assume that the chef in the kitchen was trained in Paris or at the Culinary Institute, but you’d be wrong. He’s self trained and obviously, very, very gifted. I’m sure other reviewers have covered this territory so I will leave it at that and simply say you probably will be photographing your meal and you may not need lunch. Enjoy!

If you stay at the Hampton Inn or the Holiday Inn Express along this stretch of I-95, you have no-one but yourself to blame. This is an extraordinary little gem in the charming village of Odessa, DE. Bob and Deb are over-the-top lovely folks whose attentiveness achieved George V Paris-levels without the snobbery or snails (Bob doesn’t “do fancy food” he says as he assembles perfect poached eggs atop to-die-for avocado and bacon smear and the whole set on homemade English muffins). The room was just perfect (think Restoration Hardware not Aunt Bea’s place on the Andy Griffith show). They made my otherwise unremarkable stopover a memorable experience. I gather from the Tavern owner a few doors down that the place is usually booked out by regulars who keep it a secret. I am busting that wide open with a strong endorsement and a commitment to become one such regular myself.
