We had a wonderful 3 day stay at the hotel, all staff we interacted with were so lovely, the food was excellent from carvery lunch, dinner in the char bistro and breakfast, the cleanliness of the room was 10/10, would not hesitate to stay again

The Hotel is beautiful, the amenities great. You are right in town in Tullamore, there is entertainment, pool, an amazing spa. The rooms are good and I went with a full couple romantic service for the weekend, to celebrate a special ocasion. Unfortunately the shower was freezing on the day of arrival. These things can happen so we informed reception, which promptly informed us (twice, once by phone, once face to face) that the manager was going to look into it. We came back later that night without thinking more of it, as we were assured it was fixed. The next day when we had to shower before checking out, the water was freezing once again. When we informed the reception, all we got was an apology and that they would look into it, no solutions, no manager was called to give us more details. This ruined what would have been a 5 star weekend, as we ended up doing cold showers, which while great for my blood pressure, the effect was loss after being fully ignored at the end.

We (2adults 2kids) stayed in a family room for my sisters wedding 2nd May, the hotel staff were really helpful and particularly on the day of the wedding I think it was Alanna that definitely deserves a special mention, I'm very heavily pregnant and unwell with it and she was so attentive and checked on me numerous times to see if there was anything I needed. Food all weekend was beautiful, from wedding to bar to lobby. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is due to the lack of air con in our room (212) the window was open from when we got there on Thursday until we left on Sunday and it was so uncomfortable every night I ended up outside the hotel around midnight every night just to get some air, it was obviously worse for me being heavily pregnant but everyone in the room struggled with it, there was a fan but it didn't do much after a little while of being on. We actually left a day early having been booked in until Monday because the room was just too warm and uncomfortable to sleep in. It was a shame because every other aspect of our stay was lovely. I would stay again but just request a better ventilated room.

Was in the bar for the football. Asked the barman if it was on. "I think so" was the answer. Would expect him to know. Unless he doesn't care, which he proved all night. Got my pint - no thank you when I paid. Guests sitting in front of the television, not consuming anything, making phone calls the entire evening. The bar is almost empty. One wonders why. Went to the smoking area at halftime. What a mess! Completely run down. Dirt, rubbish, used cups and cutlery spread all over the place. The barman put the commentary on for the last the minutes. I left without saying good-bye. Will choose another bar next time.

Stayed here over the May bank holiday for my cousins wedding. The hotel hosted the ceremony and the reception and it was fantastic. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The food was great and the facilities were too class. I would highly recommend this hotel for any events or even just for a nice break away.

A fabulous hotel has everything you need from the amazing staff to the fabulous food, a great leisure facility with spa and live entertainment at weekend. The room are comfortable spotless with all the amenities you need. Every member of the staff are excellent at their jobs from the receptionist to the managers, the waiters/waitress to the chefs and the bar staff all are friendly polite and a pleasure to talk to. I will 100% be back again

Myself and my friends head to the Bridgehouse Hotel every year for a night away. I was in the hotel on Saturday the 5th of April. Such a beautiful hotel, from the lobby in reception, library bar, and main bar. The food was beautiful and so was the breakfast the next morning. So enjoyable.
