On my first trip to the Oga Peninsula in Akita, I chose to stay at Bettei Tsubaki for two nights. The building, rooms, and baths were all perfectly clean, and the front desk and dining staff were all extremely accommodating, making for a very comfortable trip. All the food was delicious, and dinner was served buffet style with rice, miso soup, and other dishes, so I was able to have seconds without hesitation. Breakfast was also served buffet style, with a wide variety of dishes and an abundance of local ingredients, so I was very satisfied. We chose to stay at Oga Peninsula's Yuinoyado Bettei Tsubaki, an inn located on the coast about 3km from Nyudozaki, which is located at the northwestern tip of the Oga Peninsula. I stayed in a room with a twin bed. The view from the room was great, and the Sea of Japan was beautiful in the morning and evening.
