Extended Stay America Select Suites - Oklahoma City - Southeast

Old, rundown, no amenities crap-hole! I booked this based on the good reviews here. I don't know where those people stayed, but it could not have been here. Unless those reviews were paid for. The elevators, stairwell & hallways wreak of pot. My room has an old musty smell. The window unit air conditioners stuck in the wall looks like its from the 1950s. NO amenities. No tissue box. Nothing in the bathroom but 1 bar of soap. No cups or glasses of any kind. I even went and asked at the front desk for something and all she could offer was a gross coffee cup she had sitting on her counter. Doesn't even have a bedside or any kind of lamp. My only lighting is the french fry spotlight above the bed. Oh and there's a big gooey glop of what has to be mold on the smoke detector. The floor is gross and hasn't been mopped in ages. The blinds are broke and don't open. I can't believe Choice Hotels is associated with this dump. Do yourself a favor and pay a few more $$ somewhere else. Wish I had!

Entered room and room smelled so strongly of pesticides that it burned our eyes. Fleas were in the beds. Staff was unhelpful and hung up on us saying it “was not their problem” when we explained the situation. We were denied a refund/ any help!

Zero star rating if possible. Booked with orbitz and paid for trip insurance. Plans changed and Thomacine the GM told us and Orbitz they have a no refund policy. When asked about the trip insurance she VERY rudely exclaimed it was not her problem and she didn’t have time to deal with it then hung up. Since we were not able to cancel we went ahead and checked into the room. Immediately when the door opened we walked into a suffocating bug spray/bleach smell and I’m not referring to a little cleaning solution either this was heavy, flat out can almost taste it. Tried to tough it out due to not many other places available and it being midnight until we noticed flees on our bodies. We then booked another hotel for an additional 240$ To have somewhere to sleep. The next day we contacted the front desk to communicate the issue and low and behold, another very rude employee told us they do not fumigate the rooms or use products such as that. I asked her to please step into that room and take a breath at which she hung up on me. I called back once again and asked for a refund of the rooms as we will have to find somewhere else and she told me we signed a no refund clause at check in (without seeing the room and no idea of room conditions )..this “business” stole 200$ from us with a room that NOBODY would sleep in, and refused to even listen to any issues..stay away, sleep in your vehicle on the interstate, anything but here.
