Just as marvellous in the wintertime, as in the summertime. Amazing views around the lodge and cosy inside. It may be wise to bring warm clothing, such as wool undergarments, due to the fact that this is a historic building. Also, the sound insulation between the rooms is not quite up to modern standards :-) but that has its charm, when you think how old the building is. Our stay here was fantastic! Accommodation here took us back in time, and that was amazing.

Arriving under a hellish downpour, rain and hail mixed, the discovery of this lodge was reassuring, the welcome excellent by the owner, who took over the establishment only 3 years ago. Offer to place us in a bungalow separate from the body of the lodge, we discovered all the charm of the old, and this warmth of the Nordic countries, especially when the weather remains unfavorable! ... Excellent dinner in the evening, very good Norwegian omelette the next day for breakfast, and here we are invigorated to leave for our stage of the day, fortunately with a slightly more favorable weather! Go there without reservation, it is a very nice discovery that we make there, in an incomparable mountain and green setting!!!
