Mukarnas Spa & Resort Hotel

I love this hotel and resort very much. So much nice things too do there, i went too the hairdresser, had a medical back massage and i shopped there. I will come back. Thnx too all the nice barkeepers who made lovely cocktails for me. Especially kadir and ramazan from the game bar, i didn't forget their names and from the lobbybar burak. From all the other guys by the poolbar and other bars; i can't remember their names, haha, but thnx for the cocktails and for the restaurant thnx for the yummy food. See you'll next year march. Had the best 2 weeks at Mukarnas. The Hotel and beach is beautiful. Food was always really nice and themes changed frequently. Restaurant staff are really welcoming and helpful, 10/10 service from waiter Kadir who took really good care of us, remembered our drinks, made the effort, started conversation with us and even put flower petals on our table on our last day! He is a massive credit to the team. Animation team was amazing and made our stay very memorable! Bar staff are always very welcoming and friendly. You can definitely tell how hard all the staff work! There was always something to do in the day and the evening entertainment was also different for the whole two weeks which was really nice! We like to go different places every year but we have just booked for next year as it was truly amazing! Thank you Mukarnas family!

We flew out to Mukarnas on the 2nd November in a group of 3 for a relaxing end of season holiday. The transfer to the hotel is quite lengthy but the hotel its self is immaculate. It’s so clean and looks the part! Check in was really good and they even took our bags to our room for us. Our room was lovely- really spacious, 3 individual beds. The only thing I would say is that our room constantly smelled like sewage that came from the bathroom. Reception did come and check this out but nothing was really resolved and this continued throughout our holiday. The grounds around the hotel are also very nice and picturesque! They have a mini market, tattoo services etc and the spa did look reallly nice although we didn’t go for this as I found the staff were extremely persistent despite saying no a few times they keep on and we started to get a little annoyed with this and purposely chose not to because of the constant begging. The pool area is nice and clean! Loungers available most of the day but I would say that I could imagine it being difficult in high season! There are slides at the resort but I don’t think they were running due to end of season. The pool was absolutely freezing and I only saw 3 or 4 people in it the whole holiday. The indoor pool is advertised at heated but it’s not and that was also really cold. I like they played music by the pool as we went for a relaxing week and it was a nice touch. They also continued the pool activities and would announce lots of things like darts, yoga etc. Food- This was really hit or miss if I’m honest. Don’t get me wrong, there are lots of options, and you can tell they put a lot of effort in… but I found it extremely repetitive. It was like a cattle market trying to get food and on times, people would bump into you and you couldn’t even look at half of the options. I wouldn’t even attempt in high season. Drinks were nice- sometimes it didn’t feel there was alcohol in the cocktails. * just to add- myself and my friend also came down with a stomach bug towards the end of our holiday. We thought it was just a coincidence but after reading another review it’s concerning that so many people appeared to be unwell during the same time?* Location- Awful. There was a small shop to the left of the hotel and about a 2/3 minute walk was a coffee shop and a shopping outlet. That was it. No restaurants or bars or anything at all. We walked for miles to see if we could find anything and walked under the main road tunnel (which felt uncomfortable) but again, nothing other than local property. This was such a let down for the hotel as I feel if there was more around in terms of bars and restaurants it would make the stay a 5/5. The location was probably the biggest let down. Beach- there is a pebbled beach at the back of the hotel. It’s very pretty and they have an area to sunbathe with a beach bar etc! Shoes advised! The sunset from here was absolutely beautiful! This was our first trip to Turkey, and we are over the moon with our choice of hotel. Mukarnas was perfect for our family of 4. The animation team were excellent providing things to do all day with a smile on their faces. From beer festivals, to pool parties, to bingo with world class prizes. " Ooh scandal!! " Lol. The bar staff and staff in general do not stop. Always grafting, cleaning, serving, and all with a smile on their faces. Bravo bravo! Our room was perfect for us, a spacious 2 bed with everything we needed. Only gripe was having a few more English TV channels would be nice. Not that you want to spend much time in the room. The indoor pool is ice cold which was a god send during the high sun. Great to cool off when the temperature soared too high. Theres always something to do and I rate the hotel very highly. We will return at some point in the future! Keep up the hard work.

We have just come home from what I can only say is probably the best holiday we have had! The hotel was fantastic, the food was fantastic, the staff were fantastic! The kids had the best time and there was loads for them to do, water park, fair, arcade, the pool! So many places to eat and so much choice! Fresh waffles and donuts in the afternoon too! The beach is 2 mins and the entrance to the beach is by the pool area, it has a lovely pier you can sit and sunbath on, it is pebbles so beach shoes are a good idea. There is jet skiing, para sailing, banana boats so much to do. Hubby and son went to the barbers on site and he was amazing! There is an indoor pool and spa with sauna, gym etc and you can also book massages There is a market on a Friday across the road from the hotel which has loads of stalls to buy pretty much anything you can think of!! The bazaar in the hotel is probably the best one to use and the 2 guys in there are really nice Also we went from 24 Oct to 3 Nov and the temp was 29-30 everyday ☀️

As it's all over time for a review Absolutely amazing holiday from start to finish. Hotel it self is so beautiful and has proper Turkish feeling to it,just perfect size if you don't want to get lost wondering around. Plenty of things to do. From spa to daily activities to night club and the pool bar open till the morning. Loads of food choices. Everything was clean. And most of all the staff was going extra mile throughout all holiday with smiles on their faces to ensure you have a pleasant stay. In my opinion 10/10 for this one,as my daughter already planing to go back here next year
