We were in Olbia for a week in a room overlooking the harbor. Yes, there is street noise, but this can be muffled if the shutters are closed. The noise did not bother us. The bathroom was a bit of a challenge. It had a very small shower that would have been difficult for a large/heavy person to manage, and a sink with no place for a dopp kit. This is a very basic hotel, BUT the staff is wonderful. Each day our linen was changed and the room was immaculately cleaned. Everyone at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast servers always had a smile and the food was thoughtfully prepared, presented and featured fresh fruit and Sardinian cold cuts--a great way to start the day. There is covered parking less than half a block away, and up that street, via di Filippe, is a main square. Everything is walkable from the hotel. The staff is definitely the selling point of this hotel.

Most of the reviews of this hotel tell you everything you need to know. It’s basic and an acceptable quality for a quick stay-over for one or two nights. Location is excellent close to central Olbia (loads of restaurants and bars a short walk) and a 10 minute drive to Olbia’s airport. The staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome. The shower is too small! On the negative side we stayed in a sea-facing room which had a good view but the noise; traffic shooting by, cars hooting, people shouting, lorry reversing beeps, then bottle banks being emptied at 6am… the noise went on literally all night and kept my wife (who’s a deep sleeper) and I awake and if I stay here again (I think I would) I’ll remember ear plugs. There may be quieter rooms I’m guessing. Worth noting there is no parking at the hotel and the free parking close by was utterly rammed, and was so until well past midnight as we could see it from the room. Olbia in August is extremely busy. We chose to pay and stay in a secure car park only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We paid €5 for an overnight stay (12 hours). Great value and a lot less hassle than hunting for an illusive free spot by the sea... The only thing that troubles me is we paid more than £300 for the one night - maybe due to a late booking - but that makes it not such great value in my opinion.

If you like the sound of freeway traffic noise, this hotel is for you….did not sleep all night…noise was horrendous….rooms are about 40 years or longer since they were renovated and it it just awful….asked for a quiet room and apparently this hotel is fully booked…I am not sure the attraction to this hotel….one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in….truly awful.

We paid £77.00 B&B for two adults and one child. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean , but a bit old fashioned. We were at the front of the hotel so didn't sleep much because of the road noise. So if you do go there get a room at the back. We booked it due to flight cancellation so it was last minute. The breakfast was ok considering the budget. But they have a great coffee machine thats included with breakfast so it makes up for it.

Perfect for our late arrival, near the center we were able to arrive easily by bus, and visit everything on foot easily. The staff was very nice and the room was relatively large as well as the bathroom.

Nightmare hotel. We took a triple room, never seen such an uncomfortable room. Not even a nearby bedside table or a socket to plug in your cell phone, same thing in the bathroom. I would add that the room was paid handsomely for the days of August. Dated and dilapidated structure, room so dirty that you feel sick, endless dust and mites. Bathroom door completely broken (zero privacy), shower full of mold with blackened joints, malfunctioning and dirty refrigerator with indescribable stench and food from those who stayed before. Poor breakfast with under-branded and shoddy products. The only positive note is the strategic position, ten minutes from the center of Olbia. Courteous staff

Simple hotel, sufficient rating, old-fashioned structure, quite clean, but still convenient because it is central, parking is a problem, they only have very few spaces inside and, externally, there is a fee
