Sulia House Porto Rotondo, Curio Collection by Hilton

My wife and I loved our stay at Sulia House Porto Rotondo. I don't normally think of Hilton hotels as "small and boutique", but this one definitely was. Very small hotel, in a lovely part of Sardinia, and good access (if you have a car) to the Costa Smeralda, and Porto Rotondo, which is a nice little town on the coast. Service was outstanding, the room was more of a suite, with a killer view, and it was clean and regularly cleaned to our high standards. The pool was also a hit, as it was rarely busy, and pool attendant was very friendly and nice. We also enjoyed their (small) dry sauna, followed by a jump in the pool. Breakfast was lovely (not the fanciest buffet, but adequate, and what it lacked in choices was made up for by the service and views from the dining room). Would definitely visit again.

This is a peaceful and beautiful location and this wonderful hotel take full advantage of these features. The pool area and gardens are magnificent! Rooms are spacious and we had a large private patio area with excellent views. I could not fault a thing. Personal transportation would be advisable.

I rarely leave reviews, but this time I feel compelled to. What should have been a relaxing stay turned out to be a frustrating experience. The room had several maintenance issues: a leaking shower that flooded the entire bathroom, a torn mosquito net, and various makeshift “fixes” that gave a neglected, unkept impression. The worst part, however, was not the room itself — it was the staff’s response. When we reported the dangerous shower situation (which could easily cause someone to slip and fall), I was told they were aware of the problem and that the solution was to “angle the shower head differently” and call cleaning every time we took a shower. That is not a reasonable solution for any guest, let alone in a place that promotes itself as a relaxing getaway. One evening, around 10-11 PM, we had to call reception again ourselves because the bathroom was flooded again, cleaning was unavailable, and even our request for a simple mop was ignored. We didn’t come on holiday to argue over basic amenities or chase staff for help. Add to that early-morning construction noise, and cigarette smoke entering our room from the balcony, and the whole experience felt careless and far below expectations. The only redeeming aspect was breakfast, which I'd rate 8/10 — but unfortunately, everything else overshadowed it. I cannot recommend this place and sincerely hope management takes guest comfort more seriously in the future.

Fantastic stay with incredible views. The front desk manager was an absolute gem, so inviting, kind, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. Could not have felt more welcome. Would absolutely return and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting.

Such a beautiful and cozy boutique spot—elegant, super comfy, with the nicest staff and really great food. The rooms had everything we needed. Honestly, it was the perfect stay in the perfect area, just around the corner from Porto Redondo with tons of great restaurants and shops! We absolutely loved our time there—huge thanks to Sulia and the whole team. You were amazing! Can’t wait to come back!
