Altré Guest House

The hosts were incredibly nice and helpful and the apartment was very clean and well furnished. The fridge was always stocked (milk, butter, jam, yogurt...) and it was cleaned daily by a very nice lady. There were even local pastries to welcome us and later a very nice surprise. There was even a sun umbrella for the beach. In 5 minutes you can walk to the city center and find many places to eat and drink. If we ever visit Olbia again we book definitely again here

We had a wonderful second stay in Olbia this year in Altré! We went same place last year and we decided to return in there because it was just perfect. Rooms are clean and comfortable- cleaned everyday and their localisation is pretty good too! Enrico&Chiara are wonderful hosts and you can rely on it to make your stay the best possible ;) Maybe will go there for a 3rd turn once 😉

On my recent trip to Sardegna (Sardinia), I was able to tack on a few extra days in Olbia before I met with friends for a motorcycle tour of the island. I found the Altre Guesthouse through a blog post and some online reviews. Altre’s central location in a quiet neighborhood appealed to me since I wanted to be within walking distance of the town center and the main shopping/dining street: Corso Umberto I. Aside from the clean, modern, and well-appointed rooms, the standout feature of Altre was the unparalleled hospitality of the proprietors Enrico and Chiara. Prior to my arrival, Enrico promptly answered all of my questions regarding my stay and was quite helpful in my planning. My flight arrived early in morning before my room was available. Enrico suggested a nearby café (Latte e Miele) where I could have a nice breakfast while I waited for him to meet me at the guesthouse. He graciously held by baggage while I walked the few blocks to Olbia’s central district and notified me when my room was ready. Enrico also provided recommendations for excellent restaurants; unfortunately, I wasn’t staying long enough to try them all! The room was quiet, comfortable, spacious, and clean. There was a small well-stocked kitchenette that was supplied daily with a variety of coffee, tea, and breakfast items including pastries, cereals, yogurt, juice, and milk. I could not have asked for a better place to stay in this lovely town.

This was one of the most well maintained properties I ever stayed in. It was modern and beautiful and with a nice touch. Everything was sparkling clean. The kitchen had everything you need. There is an Italian breakfast (packed not "fresh" but I am not saying that as bad thing, just to let the visitors know what to expect cause I think this is the standard in most of B&Bs in Italy and this one was excellent cause it had a lot of varieties, more than we could eat in our night stay, a lot of jams, yogurts, biscuits, cereals,milk, croissants and other snacks). We came by car and found free parking in front of the building. The hosting couple were the most welcoming ones, as we were late for our check-in they waited for us although they had to be somewhere else they had a reservation and we are very grateful for that as we had a very long day and we just couldn't afford to cancel. Thank you to both of you, we were lucky to have stayed in your apartment!

What I liked most about the apartment is the attention to detail and the perfect cleanliness, which is very important to me when I travel. The room is in fact finely decorated, pleasant, relaxing and fully equipped! I liked it already from the pictures but is was even better than expected. Worth mentioning the Italian breakfast, very good and varied, to suit every taste! The accommodation is well located, it is in the city centre so you can easily walk out to the best places in town. Great service as well: I really appreciated the attention of the host in providing directions and useful tips for my staying, very kind and remarkable.
