Was displaced by hurricane this season and was fortunate to find this place.Friendly staff and great service.Clean rooms and nice deck to sit and relax.Very comfortable and cozy would recommend this place to family and friends. Also it is nice and quiet too.

Very nice hotel with alot of little trails for hiking. There's a very nice view of the river at the back end of the property! The staff is very friendly and the rooms are newly remodeled. If you are passing through Old Town, FL or looking for a comfortable place to stay while taking in some sites stay here! I did and I enjoyed it!

What a awesome motel! Right away pulling up to this motel you can see its going to be quiet and relaxing. Our room was spacious and clean with a personal deck. The bed was super comfortable. The shower includeds quality body wash and shampoo. I enjoyed taking walks along the water and sitting out in the cabana behind our room and sitting out next to the water. The grounds are very beautiful and peaceful and I would definitely stay here again!

First of all I can only give you MY experience: Got to the room, pulled back the sheets and there were long, black hairs between the fitted and flat sheets. We chalked it up as mistakes happen, people shed, it's whatever.... and then we went to use the bathroom 🤦 Just view the pictures for yourself before making a decision... absolutely gross. Once discovered, the front desk acted like we were putting him out by wanting clean sheets and room. Mind you it was 1:30 am, after working a 16hr day, asking for new sheets, and receiving some that didn't even fit the bed...AND having to remake my own bed,.not to mention the 3rd attempt to make it right, he replied (quote) "You gotta let me get some sleep man" (end quote). THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE HOTEL/MOTEL EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED...EVER! do your research people. check out the bathroom...

We just spent our 4th visit with Suwannee Gables. So wonderful and the weather was perfect. Our dog loved it, too. Love your new pillows. Going on a non-holiday week made all the difference. We will be back.

Spent the day in Homosassa FL and were looking for a place to stay last minute on our way home. Stumbled upon this gem. Very 1970’s, which means it has character. Room is a good size and very clean! The back of the hotel is wonderful. Right on the water, picnic facilities, covered areas, grills, fire pit, large lawn area and amazing views of the Suwannee River. And there’s a marina next door. We’re scouting places to go scalloping this summer. This hotel so far is #1 on the list.
