Ich bin seit fast zwei Jahren unregelmäßig aus beruflichen Gründen Gast im Hotel Sprenz. In dieser Zeit habe ich nie jemanden an der Rezeption angetroffen – der Zimmerschlüssel wird stets im Schlüsseltresor hinterlegt. Das Frühstücksangebot variiert je nach Wochentag: Montags und dienstags ist es eher reduziert, ab Mittwoch ist die Auswahl durchschnittlich. Rührei wird morgens um 6:30 Uhr zubereitet und bleibt verfügbar, solange der Vorrat reicht. Das Inventar ist sichtbar in die Jahre gekommen. Die Teppiche auf den Treppen weisen teils Löcher auf, Türen und Holzapplikationen haben beschädigte Furniere – das wirkt wenig einladend, wenn man das Zimmer betritt. Immerhin funktioniert der Getränkeautomat nach über einem Jahr wieder. Die Zimmerpreise schwanken stark, unabhängig vom Buchungszeitpunkt. Im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz wirken sie auf den ersten Blick hoch, was betriebswirtschaftlich sicher erklärbar ist. Die Zimmer werden regelmäßig gereinigt, allerdings ist die Heizung oft heruntergeregelt. Staub auf den Handtuchhaltern war so eingetrocknet, dass er sich selbst mit Wasser nicht lösen ließ. Früher war beim Frühstück immer eine freundliche Mitarbeiterin anwesend, die Sonderwünsche erfüllte und sich Zeit für ein nettes Gespräch nahm. Nun holt man sich seinen Filterkaffee aus einer kleinen Kanne selbst.

Zentrale Lage aber nicht alle Zimmer sind ausreichend geheizt. Ich habe 2 Nächte beruflich dort verbracht und das Zimmer wurde nicht warm. Das Frühstück ist bescheiden und die Obstauswahl dürftig. Frühstück bis 09:00 ist für Touristen nicht ausreichend. Zimmer teilweise zu laut ( Strasse/ Ventilatoren). Ich würde privat dort nicht buchen.

Positiv: Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett ok. Auch das Frühstück‘ war ok, leider nur Filterkaffee. Negativ: Viel zuwenig Parkplätze im Hinterhof, die auf dem Plan ausgewiesenen „freien“ Parkplätze sind auf 1h limitiert, weshalb ich morgen erstmal das Auto umsetzen musste. Das Zimmer war nur über den Hof erreichbar, schlecht bei Regen und im Winter. Der Hof ist durchgehend hell erleuchtet, leider hat das Zimmer jedoch keinen ausreichenden Verdunklung. Das Zimmer hat keinen Kühlschrank und keinen Tresor. Der Knauf für die Brause war abgebrochen und lose wieder draufgesteckt, so dass die Brause nicht nutzbar war. Die Packung mit Kosmetiktüchern war leer. Die Reinigung des Bades scheint ein Problem für das Hotel zu sein.

Wir hatten ein Komfort Zimmer gebucht , das Zimmer war zur Straßenseite gelegen und man konnte in der Nacht nicht das Fenster öffnen,zu viel Lärm ! Das Hotel war nicht ausgebucht, man hätte uns ja ein anderes Zimmer zuweisen können,nicht erfolgt. Das Frühstück war OK, aber nur bis 9 Uhr, war dann für uns doch etwas früh. Von der Lage top, kurze Wege in die Innenstadt. Das W-lan war nicht immer verfügbar, würde nächstes Mal ein anderes Hotel buchen 🤷♂️

Prettig hotel dat vlak bij het centrum ligt en goed te belopen is van het station. Naast ietwat aparte kamers heeft het hotel ook standaardkamers voor een redelijke prijs. De inrichting daarvan is niet overdadig maar alles werkt en is schoon. Het ontbijt was lekker en gevarieerd en het personeel vriendelijk.
