Recently renovated, the room was really clean and comfortable. Very close to a path down to the beach, great for little ones.

OMG where do we start, internet does not work, end of story despite their excuses, more than four rooms occupied no internet, reception is a waste of time, they cannot, will not do anything to make things easier, they threaten you with the police if you dare to argue with them, the hotel is a joke, they show you rooms with a sea view, however they do no tell you that these rooms are privately owned and the only room available to anyone who books looks out over scrubland or neighbours gardens, there are builders there who have been there forever renovating rooms on the ground floor, we travel a lot, In all honesty I have NEVER in all of my travels come acorss such an inept bunch of people in all of my life, this could be a lovely hotel with the right management or the right reception staff unfortunaltly you have neither, do this place a favour sell to a company that knows what they are doing, do you not read your trip advisor reports, you only reply to your positive reports which are 1 in about 20, get real and read the rest, they are sending you a message, you are crap, sell the place to someone who can use the location and stop being the pratts that you are, full on the 31st January? dream on. you are a joke suck it up and get real, pictures are of the damp in the room we were given, we were told use this room, leave or we will call the police.

Good Time. Great welcome. Place was empty. Had fire simulation and they advised us a day ahead. Kitchen basically equipped. Place was clean. People are very nice and helpful. We would come back there if we travel again in the area.

We stayed for 14 days at the beginning of October 24. The apartment was perfect for our stay. Everything we required for the holiday was provided and the apartment was cleaned thoroughly during our stay. The location of Clube Maria Luisa is perfect for the beach. Fantastic Apartment complex. We stayed for a week (2 friends and 2 children). Considering the apartment was very reasonable we weren’t sure what to expect. Rooms were fresh and modern, lots of lovely extra touches (toiletries, coffee machine, washing up liquid and sponge etc) which you don’t always get in other places. The whole place was immaculately presented and house keeping work hard keeping the place clean and fresh. Pool area was lovely, very quiet and always loads of sun beds on offer. On a few occasions we were the only ones there! There was a slight blimp when we arrived. We were greeted by a polite and helpful young man who informed us there had been a mix up and the 2 bed apartment we’d book wasn’t going to be vacated until the following day. In which case for that night we were placed in a 1 bed with sofa bed in lounge. By way of compensation, we were given free breakfast the following day. The apartment was huge and again well appointed. We found the complex and the surrounding areas to be really quiet, we were told this was because it was the start of the season. It was a 10-15 min walk to the main resort which had 10+ restaurants and bars as well as the main beach. There is also a beach 50m away from the apartments, however that is accessed by 100+ steps (not buggy friendly). We got an Uber into Albufera a few times (this ranged from 6-10 euros each way. Although that was enjoyable, we were glad to return to the quieter and more chilled area of Ohlas de Água. Cannot speak highly enough of this complex, can’t wait to return.

The hotel has been refurbished to a really high standard, the rooms are very nice with big fresh tiles Scandinavian style decor and a beautiful brand new bathroom. My reason for a lower score is sadly some snagging issues. The shower screen is not big enough meaning the water went everywhere and soaked the bathroom we tried our best and did mention it to housekeeping as we were going through towels like no tomorow - they advised us to mop it up. Another bathroom snag - the water is a tank meaning after 2 short showers ( we travelled as a 3 ) the water was then cold. When travelling off peak I think it’s something you can manage with but if you are a family in peak summer and all want showers a few of you will get cold ones ( I saw the prices for summer and would not pay it knowing that the shower lets the room down sadly). The breakfast- don’t pay it. We were told it’s an English breakfast and we confirmed she meant sausage bacon etc and she said yes. We even double checked as we didn’t want a continental they charge €12 and we were met with cereal toast and watered down juice - if you stay don’t waste your money. The pool is nice- it’s small but clean and well kept. The reception area and grounds are all well kept sadly those few snags for me meant I would not return. We mentioned the issues to reception and they said ‘ ok’. There was no attempt to try and resolve the issues sadly. If you’re travelling alone this hotel is ‘ ok’ as a family avoid.
