Family-friendly Hotels in Olimpia

Lugar muito tranquilo e agradável, quarto muito confortável, área externa bem ampla, com muitas opções, piscina limpa, bastante área verde.. equipe do hotel cordial, café da manhã com muita variedade, diversas opções, local bem amplo.. sem dúvidas um dos melhores hotéis que ficamos em Olímpia, não somente pela estrutura do hotel, mas também pela tranquilidade do local.. apesar de na área externa ter música, não havia mais barulho, o som não estava exageradamente alto.. os quartos eram extremamente silenciosos! Com toda certeza voltaremos, assim que possível!

The hotel has a very good structure, room, air conditioned shower, excellent location and access to the park. The staff's service was very good, but we had problems with the service at the reception by Mislayne and Ana Julia. We checked in on day 30/09 afternoon, I bought a package for 3 nights. The next day (01/10) around 17:00 am I returned to the room and the door was not open. I went down to the reception and the attendants reported that I had made only one night booking. I said I had paid for 3 nights. They asked me to show the voucher, and I explained that I had left my cell phone loaded in the room, but I couldn't get in. Both Mislayne and Ana Julia did not even have the good sensor to open the room to pick up the cell phone and show the voucher, and I had to suggest that they let me use one of the computers to open the email and show the voucher. Even with the proof, they stayed around 15 minutes moving on the computer, and I complained about the delay and they said that there was only one day in the hotel system (even showing the voucher, they were unreducable). I asked to release the room pq my wife had spent the day in the park and wanted to take a bath and the attendants simply ignored, then they asked me to open the email again to show the voucher. After five minutes of wait, Misslayne and Ana Julia simply gave me the armband, without explaining what happened and no apology. The indignation is the way we were treated, as if we were ”applying a coup”, as well as the arrogant behavior of Mislayne and Ana Julia, the lack of good sense, friendliness and professionalism, and people cannot take care of the public. After that episode, the manager Diogo came to talk to us and apologised for the incident.

Hi there! I´m sending this message as a last resource, hoping that it will find it´s way to higher management in Latin America or Brazil since I was unable to talk to local management (there wasn´t anyone available for that during my 5-day stay!). I´ve recently stayed at the Wyndham Olimpia Royal Hotel in Olimpia, São Paulo, Brazil with a large part of my family and friends, to enjoy a bit of family time. As we arrived, we had a pleasant check-in experience and that was as far as the good experiences went. Arriving at the room, we found out that the baby cot we requested was not in the room. I called reception and requested it again. Nothing. Got out for dinner and arrived at my floor arround 10pm, still without a cot in the room. On my way to the reception, I found out thru a housekeeper that the cot was requested TWICE to the wrong rooms, she had changed it TWICE along the day. We were glad that the hotel provided a small kitchen area, suited to heating and preparing baby food and formula. It had a standad procedure where you had to request that the area was cleaned as demanded (strange but OK) so I requested that the area was cleaned so that I could use to prepare my son´s meals. It took 4 (FOUR) days for someone to go up there and clean the kitchen and remove the trash (that stunk the whole hallway). After several atempts over the phone and personally on the reception counter with different employees, I gave up, went to the market and bought the things I needed in order to do it within my own room. The lack of attention, specially to a baby´s needs, was shocking. On one ocasion, there was VOMIT on my floor´s hallway. I saw it on the way down to the restaurant at arround 7am and personally notified reception about it. I had breakfast, spent the morning on the pool and as i returned to my room to get ready for lunch arround 12pm, it was still there. The hotel had great infra-structure and an incredible pool area, great bar, but with not enough waiters. We practically had to beg for service and wait sometimes for over an hour to get a drink. And I´ll tell you, we would of have spent twice as much, maybe even more, had we had a decent service. I asked to talk to the manager and explain my case, specially about the baby´s kitchen issue and was told that NO manager was available. So i left my mobile number at the reception and asked that he/she gave me a call when possible. I have left the hotel, without even knowing the manager´s name. Overall, the hotel is was very good, but the service in ALL areas requires better attention to training. The hotel staff seems lost at all times, without knowing how to direct the requests or solve the guests issues. I would like to receive a decent reply to my complaint and not a generic one. I'll glady talk to local management explaining all my issues, but please DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. As I said, this is my last attempt. It was a very, very far experience from what I expected of a 4 star hotel. DS

Gostei muito, ambiente familiar com uma suíte bem confortável colchão bom e estacionamento amplo a piscina é pequena e o café da manhã é bom pequena e a tv não tem muitos canais e falha as vezes a sintonia. Mas no geral foi muito legal a estadia. O ar condicionado gela bastante e tem barulho de mar rsrs facinho pra dormir kkkk

The hotel has a good structure. The strong points are the great hot water pools and the restaurant. The pools are very nice and are open until 22h. The restaurant offers a great breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are very careful and educated. The weak points are lifts and the transfer to the aquatic park. Lifts are only 2 and appear not to have smart system, causing a shock in the hours of greater movements. The transfer is a urban bus. If you need to wait for him in the park, you will stay at the time (in the sun). Sometimes it may be better to take the car off the parking.

My family of 7 stayed for 3 days. The staff were very accomodating of our difficult needs, and made our stay very memorable. The hotel is very well run, the rooms are comfortable, the pool is very hot and peaceful. The food is excellent. The hotel is situated right next to laranjais and a short car ride from the included hot beach park. Overall we were very impressed with an extremely organised and comfortable family hotel. Thank you for all your efforts and we will definitely return. Well done!
