We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel set in a peaceful and serene environment. The grounds are stunning, filled with vibrant flowers and fruit trees, and hummingbirds flitting about. There are plenty of cozy spots to sit and soak in the natural beauty. The hotel offers complimentary tea and water throughout the day, which is a lovely touch. The breakfast was exceptional, featuring fresh avocados from their garden, made-to-order eggs, ham, cheese, local breads, yogurt, cereal, and freshly squeezed orange juice. This family-run hotel provides outstanding service. Our trip was made even more special by Alex, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. His helpfulness and attention to detail truly enhanced our experience.

What a great place! We got so much more than we expected. It all started with Stephen (sp?), the young man who checked us in. He was so incredibly welcoming, and funny. The courtyard was spacious and tastefully planted with native plants and trees. Our rooms were perfect---big, clean and comfy. The breakfast was very tasty, and they have a bar that could keep you up later than you had planned. I would strongly recommend this place. It's a great value and the owner is working really hard to create memorable experiences for travelers.

This is a peaceful oasis with beautiful views. On clear days snowcapped peaks are visible and you also look into the ruins at Ollaytaytambo. It is a family run business. Alex leads the team and is a fantastic resource advising and arranging all things from tuk tuk to village, cars to Cusco, dietary needs, places to visit and so on. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms are beautifully appointed, tastefully decorated and functional. Clean and crisp. There are 10 rooms. Breakfast is included. I would recommend Tierra Inka with hesitation. Great to use as a base to explore Sacred Valley and to visit Macchu Picchu. Wish I had allowed for more days here. Next time for sure. Keep up the good work Alex.

Spectacular view of the valley and archeological site (and Mt Veronica range when the clouds lift) from the upper rooms. The owner Alex is a superb host and set us up for tours to Pisaq, Moray etc. We chose the new room at the top (penthouse) with panoramic views. The room was very spacious, the bed comfortable, the pillows soft and lots of comforters on the bed for the cool nights (heaters are not used in this part of the world). We had a balcony as well, but there is a large courtyard with beautiful gardens (and hummingbirds). Breakfast consists of local bread, cheese, ham, eggs to order, avocado fresh off the tree out front, cereal, oatmeal, fruits and fresh orange juice. Filtered water. Is available to refill water bottles. The shower is hot with good pressure. The hotel is about a 5 min walk from the archeological site (which is well worth the visit) and 10 min walk from the Plaza de Armas. It is on the edge of town—take a Tuk Tuk taxi from the bus/train station—the streets are cobblestone or dirt so don’t drag your suitcases. This is a small family owned hotel,so be prepared to be treated like family. Highly recommend over the places in the middle of town. Just a note that the roosters start up about 4 am if you’re a light sleeper.

A lovely guest house type hotel located on the edge of the village of Ollantaytambo. This location puts you half way between Cusco and Macchu Picchu. From this town you can reach Macchu Picchu Village via Peru rain in just 90 minutes. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and ceramic tile floors. Everything spotlessly clean. The setting is beautiful and rustic with sweeping mountain views outside your window. The breakfast is extremely basic and with little variety. The services are quite basic. It's not a classic hotel with lots of staff. You have to be prepared for this. What made this place very special for us was the owner Alex who worked with me in advance to arrange guides to take us through the Sacred Valley as well as Macchu Picchu. He also pre-arranged reasonably priced transfers for us back and forth to Cusco. He was always there on WhatsApp to help with whatever was needed. All in all a really good stay. Thank you Alex for everything! Recommended.

We stayed for three nights with Alex in December and didn’t want to leave! The views from the hotel, whether during the day or at night, are absolutely breathtaking. Alex was incredibly accommodating, assisting us with everything we needed—from arranging a baby crib to organizing a cozy fire pit for stargazing. They even took care of our laundry, which was a huge help while traveling with kids. As a family-run establishment, the service is truly exceptional. Alex, in particular, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. His attentiveness and dedication added an extra layer of warmth and hospitality to an already wonderful experience. I can’t wait to return and stay even longer next time! This charming hotel is set in a peaceful and serene location, surrounded by stunning grounds filled with vibrant flowers, fruit trees, and flitting hummingbirds. There are plenty of cozy spots to relax and soak in the natural beauty. The hotel offers complimentary tea and water throughout the day, a thoughtful and welcoming touch. Breakfast was outstanding, featuring fresh avocados from their garden, made-to-order eggs, ham, cheese, local breads, yogurt, cereal, and freshly squeezed orange juice. It was the perfect start to each day in this tranquil oasis.

The best hotel for a large family or families with teenagers. Very big and comfortable individual beds, great rooms with plenty of power outlets, tables, benches and storage area, a wonderful garden area to enjoy the mountains views and the sky at night. Very nice restaurant and delicious breakfast included.

If you can fine this place, you are on to a good thing! It is rather at the back via some really narrow road in a small town of Ollantaytambo. But once you get there, and manage to get someone's attention to open the front gates, you are onto an oasis - a nice quite beautiful place. We were here in May, and there was a little work still going on, so everything was pretty new and worked fine. You can walk from here to the Ollantaytambo ruins, as well as to the train station, maybe 10-15 mins either way. Or take a taxi, not expensive.
