The Hotel was great, disappointed on check out as my sister who booked on her own paid $24 a night less than we did ! I felt like I was in that TV commercial about paying more than someone else. . . . I was shocked I thought your booking was the lowest the day I made it. Having said that, the hotel was great.

If you are going to Mayo Clinic, there is no better place to stay then Kahler Grand! It is connected to the clinic by the subway or a simple walk across the street. The rooms are clean, updated & very comfortable. Parking is also convenient & connected to the hotel. Restaurants are within the hotel, subway system or a short walk. Staff are always friendly, helpful & kind! Mayo wheelchairs are available for use ( to & from the clinic & in the hotel) if needed. There is a swimming pool & workout area also.

Our hotel in Rochester, MN is across the street from Saint Marys Hospital with complimentary hot breakfast buffet daily, free parking and a free shuttle to and from the Mayo Clinic Downtown Campus and Methodist Hospital. All of our suites include a wet bar with a mini-fridge and microwave. It is very convenient to go to Mayo, and it is also the reason why the price is expensive. The underground and the 2nd floor corridor can pass, avoiding the cold in winter. The front desk is welcoming, the hotel cleaning is very sloppy, the tea is not replenished, the garbage is not taken away, and the tip is taken diligently.

Reception not in ground floor lobby, but on second floor. ”Front door” not readily evident. Parking available according to Website, it is in adjacent parking ramp and a separate fee. Room spacious, well appointed with many electrical outlets, TV, telephone, couch, small but adequate closet. Bathroom, nicely lighted, very functional shower, toiletry amenities, good towels and cloths. Window view over parking ramp and city in distance.
