The stoic attitude of fellow guests, the friendly staff and the good pool and gardens are what made our holiday and were massive positives. Oh, and the comfortable beds, effective Aircon (even if it looked broken) and great location. The downside is how shabby the rooms were and the quite frankly unhygienic and terrible cleaning. Our towels and sheets were not changed all week. No maid came to the room to make beds or change toilet bin until day 4, despite asking 3 times and eventually contacting easyJet ( a hilarious experience due to intermittent WiFi and easyJet's inability to contact the hotel via phone). We had electricity that stayed on all the time as the key fob operated switch didn't work properly and was hanging off the wall. Dead mosquitoes in shower for a week, dirty marks on floor, bits swept into cracks as no dustpan/ vacuum. Dodgy wires on hairdryer so it switched off when curly wire was moved around to dry hair and switched on on its own when in holder. Shower that sprayed more from the sides than through the nozzle. Wobbly toilet seat, toilet roll holder that fell off wall, exterior patio light inoperative, dark corridor due to lack of bulbs. Remotes were missing some batteries. I get the feeling that a lot of the rooms were being used for the first time in the season and we were the 'snagging' crew. Many guests had more serious issues like ant infestation, flooding, leaky Aircon units, no hairdryer at all and some moved room more than once. I know a lot of people moaned about the food, but it's Turkish food in a Turkish hotel and I thought the hot food was tasty enough but the salads, dips and soups were very good. We didn't eat out once. Hopefully the hotel will address these issues ASAP otherwise I can only see their rating going down. I would go back if these issues were addressed as the staff are lovely, the pool is like an oasis and the location is great.
