Our room was very close to the beach. Easy access.

Did not like the solicitors walking up and down the beach trying to sell you their products or services.

My family and I truley enjoyed our stay at Riu Palace Tropical bay. The activities and events were great. The room was clean and the service was top notch. We stayed on the resort the whole stay and we didn't feel like we missed anything not exploring the island.

Great staff at reception, great cleaning staff. Wiifi was a great disappointment. The wifi connection was only good in the lobby, room and buffet areas. There was poor wife service in the restaurants, in the other common areas and near pool. There was no wifi at the beach.

Place was very clean and staff was super friendly with a great vibe. Everyone made us feel very welcome. The resort is beautiful and has a lot of activities everyday for kids as well as adults.

The staff were very warm and welcoming. The housekeepers did try their best to keep the rooms comfortable but there was a constant smell of sewage in my room. I don’t know what caused it, I also smelled the odor in certain locations while walking the property. The buildings are poorly designed; no elevators for three floors! The food was a 4/10. Parking is not secure. Entertainment at night was good. The pools were very small and there are only 4 restaurants and 3 of those need a reservation.

It’s pretty, has lots of beach, staff was friendly. Drinks were great ! Food was so so. Not really served hot and fresh. Entertainment was ok. Could use some different acts maybe
