2-Star Hotels in Orange County

The budget hotel near Disney in California is a decent option for those looking for an affordable stay close to the park. While the rooms are basic, they are clean and comfortable, and the hotel offers complimentary breakfast. However, the hotel can get quite noisy at times, and the amenities are limited. Customer service is lacking in some of your employees. Colin, specifically, the front desk person should NOR be speaking to guests. When I called the front desk from my room asking for more pillows and blankets. Why? Because there were 4 people in the room, and the sofa bed is not the most comfortable. Colin answers the phone and said in an unfriendly tone: ”Let me see what I can do.”. That is not the way to talk to a customer. I asked him: ”What do you mean?”. He said: ”Some of the guests may have already taken all of the blankets and pillows.” Well, this is a hotel. I was under the assumption that hotels have extra pillows and blankets. Anyway, what a stupid way to answer! He could have said: ”No problem. I will have someone deliver those to you right away.” The nice gentleman who showed up from housekeeping came back to our room 4 times. He was the sweetest. I wish I remembered his name. He got us blankets, and then pillows. He even reminded me that we had pillows and blankets in the bag on the top of the closet. I also forgot that I needed an additional bath towel because there were only 3 in the bathroom. Once again, housekeeping gave me an extra towel. He was very customer-oriented UNLIKE Colin (from the front desk) who should not be working in this industry which entails being customer-focused. Maria was very good. She even helped me book the room for 7/16/2022 when I had a problem booking it online on 7/11/2022. She stayed on the phone with me until I got the booking confirmed. I had the opportunity to meet Maria when we checked out. She is very pleasant. On the other hand, Colin, should be reprimanded for bad customer service skills. He needs to GO. He also doesn't explain anything upon check-in. He rushed everything. He just handed me the key and asks me to refer to the card in the back of the key holder. He has no warmth.

Fabulous place to stay when visiting Disneyland nice and close we still used the ART bus system but you could walk. Randy was amazing we had some trouble with our reservations but he didn’t leave until we had it sorted out even though he had to stay late for us. The rest of the staff was also extremely helpful and kind. The Breakfast buffet saved us so much time in the morning we could just eat and leave.

Had a family member at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo and this is the closest hotel to the hospital. It's a solid choice for the area where there are a dearth of hotels, much less decent hotels. Had a suite which was spacious with bed, couch, desk with nice TV (which could swivel for watching from bed) and a bar area with a fridge. The bathroom was large. The bed was fine. I was on the first floor overlooking the back parking lot, but that was fine because I wasn't there for the view and the back parking lot seems little used, so there wasn't noise with people coming and going from the lot. I see that some have complained about overhead noise and advised a third floor room, but I didn't hear any noise from above -- perhaps the room above me was empty, however. Four points instead of five because the blackout curtains weren't perfect and let in some light around the edges of the curtains and I'm sensitive to light. Other hotels I have been staying at lately in Orange County do better on the blackout curtain front. Another demerit for the awful complimentary breakfast. No breakfast potatoes like most places which do complimentary breakfast and the pre-made scrambled eggs were just plain disgusting -- had some weird oily chemical taste. The blueberry muffin was also awful. There are no actual mugs for tea or coffee. Only these very flimsy paper cups where you have to carry the cup with a napkin because unlike Starbucks cups, for instance, the cups aren't thick enough so that it is not uncomfortable to carry a hot beverage with your bare hand. Even worse, the lids don't fit the cups properly so it's impossible to completely lid the cup if you are carrying the cup back to your room, as I did. Because the lid did not fit properly and I was juggling to open my door with my door key, I ended up spilling some hot liquid on myself. If I stayed at this hotel again, I would not have breakfast in the hotel. Order delivery from Uber Eats or go out to dine. Even an Egg McMuffin would have been better than this food. Be aware that on weekends the place seems overrun with ill-mannered children (many in sports uniforms -- so I surmised that they were being taken to tournaments in the area). The children crowded the breakfast buffet area and didn't realize that you are supposed to take your food and move on so others can, in turn, get in to take their food. The kids were also running through the halls. I would guess the hotel is more sedate during the week, at least during the school year.

Nice hotel. Right across the street from Disney so getting to the park was a pretty short walk. Ate at some of the restaurants next to the hotel so there's plenty of food. Room was clean and AC worked. Showers and toilets worked. Front lobby had coffee and assorted creamers. Parking was easy. Overall a good trip. Wanted to try the hot tub but after a couple 11 hour days at the parks a shower and sleep won out. Stayed at the BW a couple Doors down last time so both BW are a good place to stay.

WARNING !!!!! EXTREMELY LOUD “ALL DAY” BANGING AND DRILLING!! Went for a visit with my son to relax. Arrived to the room in the afternoon, could barely have a conversation in the room, due to loud construction!!!!! Next morning, NO SLEEPING IN!!!! 8:40am drilling, right near to my head!!!! Scared me to death!!! I contacted the hotel via email/website 2 times! No response! We then wanted an afternoon nap…NOT HAPPENING!!! I asked for some type of compensation??? Also, the shower would not drain! So gross, a super quick shower is all we got, or the water would have flowed into the entire bathroom!!!!! And it took the water to drain, 40 min. Before anyone else could shower!!!!!! WHAT IS HAPPENING???? I had no warning from the hotel, it would be under constant construction for the 4 straight days, I booked!!!! And no deposit returned!!!!!!! I

There is nothing more like a best western than a best western ...so this is in its juice.The accommodation is correct and professional , the rooms are spacious , clean and the very comfortable litter , the deco is quite old . The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre and is located in the heart of the city centre. In the case of a night stay on a Road trip the hotel has done the job for a correct price.

The hotel reservation was too hasty, too late to read the reviews, and the evaluation was high and the price was not high. In fact this hotel is an upscale car hotel. Advantages: First, the price is not high, second is very close to Disney, third is good breakfast, but people are too crowded. 4 is the hotel's service staff or warm smiles. Inadequacies: First, the three independent houses, that is, a MOTEL, the second is that the house is not large, the decoration is too old, it is not so clean and graded, and some of the evaluation of 4.6 points does not match.

I saw that some people did not recommend it before, so I always worried that the room was poor, but when I found out, it turned out to be very good. Breakfast, parking, sanitation, and facilities are very good. I am very surprised by the besr western series. Follow this hotel chain!
