Rubén and Magna were the perfect hosts, kind, helpful and attentive. They are artists who make your stay magical and personal. My wife turned 62 during our stay and they surprised her with an almond birthday cake with candles baked by Ruben’s father Orba’s baker. Each breakfast was delicious and presented with flat and detail that showed Orba and Spain at its best. A stay we will not soon forget and hosts that will remain in our hearts forever.

This house has been refurbished with exquisite taste and a clin d'oeuil to Cesar Manrique. Light, fresh, and pristine, it boasts all the elements of an excellent hotel. But it is better: rooms are extremeley comfortable and the common areas have lovely pieces of art and glass. Ruben is an excellent host, at ease in Spanish, French, as well as English. A well stocked honesty bar provided us with aperitifs before a delicious dinner, and breakfast each morning was varied. Fresh orange juice reminded us of the delicious scent of the flowering orange groves which surround the town and each day there was a regional speciality - including a special bread for Easter cooked by Ruben's father who has the bakery on the corner. A brilliant place to relax and hopefully one day we will be able to return....

A truly amazing small boutique hotel. Nestled in a lovely street with fabulous Mountain View’s. The room was immaculate, the staff excellent and so helpful. Loved the roof terrace with hot tub. Will definitely return and would absolutely recommend.

Friendly little hotel in a beautiful little village of Orba, Ruben greeted us and was very friendly, the room was modern and spotlessly clean, the views from the roof terrace are fabulous, there was a mini bar with several free courtesy drinks hot & cold, downstairs was a comfortable lounge area with a honestly bar with a good selection of wines, beer & spirits and soft drinks, Magda served us breakfast in the morning and she was very nice and made us feel welcome, the breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs with black pudding and tomato, toast and other breads & fresh orange juice & very nice coffee, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again to this charming homely feel hotel in a beautiful setting.

Excellent Boutique Hotel with modern, cosy and designed rooms. Excellent breakfast with fresh local food. Great personal service from the owners. Highly recommended! Get the room with terrace and magnificent view.

I stayed here for the bank holiday weekend, whilst visiting friends in Orba. Ruben's hospitality is second to none, The breakfast was different each morning and absolutely delicious. Especially the Brioche-chocolate bread, from his father's bakery, and the Sobrassada sausage drizzled with orange honey with homegrown tomatoes and local cheese. The hotel in immaculately clean, entry via keypad code, so no worrying about keys! A very thoughtful touch that the air-conditioning was on in our room on arrival, because it was very hot outside! Our room, L'Infern was bright and airy with wonderful views across the mountains and the Orba Valley. We has a small patio and table and chairs, the bed was super comfortable and the bathroom well equipped with beautifully smelling toiletries and fluffy towels. There's a nespresso coffee machine and kettle for a morning tea or coffee. Highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect stay in Mardenit with very friendly owners, beautiful room. Free parking around the corner. Breakfast with every day something different and authentic Alicante specialties. Dinner possible at request which is recommended accompanied by a divers choice in lovely wines.
