We were led to believe this was a 5* hotel with full service. We called the morning of our scheduled arrival and were told our room would be available by noon. We arrived at 1130, only to find out they hadn't cleaned any rooms yet and that there was no help "today", just us two girls at the front desk. With no one to help either with the bags, no pool, no room for at least 3 more hours, we canceled our reservation and moved on. No apologies, no options!

The hotel is located in a great location a few minutes walk from the lovely town. Our room was large though dark as it was on a low floor. The staff were wonderful. It is very difficult to get taxis in Ortobello. On trhe day we needed to leave and go to Porto Ercole it was impossible to find a taxi. The lady at the reception (I forgot her name) went out of her way to solve the problem. She was able after calling all over for half an hour find an employee from the other hotel we were going to to give us a lift on his day off. She saved us. So did the employee of course. We also had trouble finding a taxi to come to this hotel from the Ortebello train station. Anyway the evening we spent in Ortebelloo was very pleasant. The town is nice. Breakfast was very good. We were happy to have stayed at the hotel. If you plan to go to the local Beach Clubs book in advance. There was a couple from Rome who could not find space at a Beach Club.

Posizione centrale in antico palazzo molto bello e d’atmosfera . Purtroppo però tutto poco curato e decadente . Non ci sono assolutamente servizi da 4 stelle ma neanche da 3. In camera frigo vuoto , letto solo con lenzuola senza coperta o copriletto. Arredi vecchi e maltenuti , servizio reception con interruzione di notte e ad ora di pranzo . Colazione con una sola cameriera che non riusciva a tenere il ritmo. Cibo nella media con alcuni prodotti da discount . Prodotti finiti e non reintegrati. Nel complesso bella struttura un po’ vecchia da ristrutturare e personale da cambiare e aumentare. Caro per il servizio che offre.

L'albergo nel suo complesso è bello e molto centrale, Purtroppo la stanza "base" è difficile da raggiungere. La nostra si trovava al secondo piano oltre una porta antincendio, seguendo un lungo corridoio composto da una loggia (dove le persone fumano!) e da un altro piccolo corridoio dove la luce non era funzionante e ho fatto fatica a trovare lo slot per la chiave interna (da inserire per far funzionare l'elettricità in stanza). Non l'avrei trovata senza l'addetta della reception che mi ha accompagnato dietro mia richiesta (aveva provato a spiegarmi a voce ma non riuscivo ad orientarmi) Purtroppo l'aria condizionata è gestibile solo dalla reception, cosa fastidiosa in quanto durante il sonno notturno l'avrei interrotta ma avrei dovuto alzarmi e telefonare. Non c'erano bicchieri in stanza, strano visto che c'è il frigobar. Inoltre durante la mattina presto ci hanno svegliato le porte delle stanze che sbattevano molto forte. La colazione è molto buona e avviene nella corte interna, spazio molto gradevole. Il parcheggio è a poca distanza a pagamento (ma l'albergo ha a disposizione alcuni pas gratuiti, provate a chiedere), lo scarico e carico bagagli è un po' problematico ma è ovvio visto che la struttura è in pieno centro. Forse tornerei ma in una stanza molto meglio ubicata.

Albergo molto deludente e decadente privo di servizi zero manutenzione . Doccia vasca con accesso scomodissimo sicuramente non rispetta le normative legate alla sicurezza e privo di antiscivolo L'acqua fredda nel bidet bloccata . Alle 11 di sera non c'era acqua in camera I citofoni in camera non funzionano pertanto bisogna usare il cellulare . Il wi fi molto carente spesso non si riesce ad accedere Il buffet del breakfast non procede alcun alimento per intolleranti al lattosio e mi è stato risposto che se non c'era sul buffet voleva dire che non era disponile pertanto fatto colazione fuori Peggio di così non saprei , peccato un tempo sarà stato un buona location

Ci siamo fatti influenzare dalle foto. La stanza piccola e scomoda .La pressione dell acqua della doccia era poca e fredda.Il rubinetto del lavello perdeva acqua.Prezzo superiore ai servizi.Da non consigliare.Il condizionatore non si poteva regolare .La colazione era sufficientemente passabile.

Non ci siamo proprio davvero deludente tra l’altro ci eravamo già stati ci siamo voluti ritornare pensando che avessero fatto una bella ristrutturazione invece no niente di niente!!!! Non solo il rapporto qualità prezzo (€195 per una camera superior) non esiste ma anche se costasse meno non sarebbe comunque accettabile perché manca la parte più importante che è la cura delle cose sia quelle essenziali che quelle che poi fanno la differenza. Non ci tornerò !!!

Albergo gradevole in posizione centrale. Offre un ottimo aiuto nel parcheggio grazie ad una convenzione con il Comune di Orbetello (e chi conosce la cittadina comprende l'utilità). Personale disponibile e garbato. Buona la prima colazione. Suite su due livelli. Peccato che il rubinetto in bagno non aveva pressione e quindi con scarso afflusso di acqua e il wi-fi sfruttabile solo per i telepati. Segnalati gli inconvenienti alla direzione, oltre a ringraziarmi per la segnalazione, mi è stato garantito che alla mia prossima visita saranno sicuramente aggiustati. Sarà difficile che torni.
