Why is this 3 star hotel badly reviewed? Yes you read it right, this is a 3 star and not a 4 star hotel. There are many misrepresentations, read on if you have time, if not just skip this hotel, there are plenty more in the vicinity to choose from. Upon our arrival, which was 1.5 hr after check in time, we were told the carpark is full and we had to park our car in an open car park about 10 min walk away. There is no concierge, and there was only 1 staff manning the tiny check in counter. He informed that the swimming pool wasn’t working for the day but we found out that the pool is moldy and probably has not been working since June as gathered from the reviews. The gym is pathetic to say the least, it has only a single cycling machine and it doesn’t seem to work either. We booked a superior room but it looks exactly like the cheaper classic room. There is no coffee machine as shown in the picture, there is no extra pillows, no hair conditioner, no in room slippers. The latter is only offered to executive room guests. The phone in the room is either not working or there is no one answering phone. The hotel also required a deposit of €500 for a night stay of €160 - an abusive practice! In short, just avoid this hotel at all costs!

The rooms and beds are spacious and the ceilings are high. The showers are well equipped with amenities, including a hair dryer, jumping gear, and conditioner. You can also use the indoor pool.

Awful, expensive, overpriced and small rooms. Parking 15 euros which came as a surprise as not noted on website. Double room tiny and bed felt like a small double as for 140.00 a room a night it's ridiculously overpriced, room so tiny couldn't move. Bed hard and uncomfortable, like sleeping on a slab of concrete. View was of a roof and outside air con unit. Tiny window, dark room. No milk in room for coffee and I booked three rooms and no milk or supplies in other rooms neither. No cups in rooms just a couple of paper ones in the bathroom. No tea bags, they supply tea leaves but no strainer. All just pointless, poor customer care and disappointing. I complained to reception about room size, no milk, cups, teabags and was basically told tough. I asked if I could be moved FOC but told no, even though there were rooms available. Deposit of 50 euros taken per room for damages. Just avoid, looks all nice and well furnished in the pictures but this hotel is really not worth the money, time nor experience.

I was having a great stay until this evening. After a day out exploring this lovely region I was excited to go to the sauna and pool area to relax. Another couple were there watching sport on their ipad. I asked them not to and they turned down the volume, so I could hear tinny sports commentators. This is not what I expect when I want to relax in the pool area and I chose this hotel over others and paid for this service. I complained to the girl on duty who did talk to them but said she could do nothing because they turned the volume down. This is terrible customer service, the pool area is not a sports bar. I will be making a formal complaint to Accor and Novotel about this. It has really ruined my trip.

Well located hotel, close to the center. Room 302 is clean and spacious, equipped with air conditioning. Kettle available with instant coffee and tea bags. Beautiful bathroom with large shower. Separate toilet. Parking: €15 in the basement of the hotel but limited spaces and no reservation possible in advance. Fortunately we were able to get a space in the end, because the public car parks and the surrounding streets are very congested. Negative points: - carpet in the room (prohibitive for us) - minimalist TV remote control: impossible to change channels (unless the batteries were dead), which prevented us from watching TV - Breakfast: full of savory and sweet, but price of €20 too high, pastries not cooked enough
