The hotel is located on the hillside of the small town of Ortisei, opposite the cable car of the Upper Hughes Plateau. The scenery is very good. What you can see from the room is the peaks on the Hughes Plateau, and in the evening you can see the golden mountains illuminated by sunshine. The hotel has a parking lot with free parking, but there is no elevator. It's a bit tiring to drag the suitcase up to the 2 floors. However, the hotel has a rich breakfast, a buffet for dinner, priced at 32 yuan per person, and free self-service wine. The hotel rooms are fully equipped and hygienic, and the front desk staff is friendly. You will be given a tour guide including a map when you check in. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the cable car station, so you can park your car at the hotel and walk there (parking at the cable car station is a bit expensive).

The staff are absolutely lovely however this is a notch above a hostel. The rooms are dormitory style with a tiny bed and desk. If you are lucky you will get a closet and some drawers. The bathroom is outdated and moldy. We traveled here with The World Tour.org... stay far away from this tour company. The World Tour.org is an awful tour operator run by an awful man named Donald. I don't know why anyone would repeat travel with him unless they were a glutin for punishment. He lead us astray telling us the hotel was quirky... LOL We had to share hair dryers 😂 The staff is great, but know what you are getting if you stay here.

The staff at the hotel are lovely and hard working. The rest of the hotel is poor, at best. The rooms are dim, dirty, and without the most basic amenities. The food is dismal, mostly frozen or canned, and sometimes truly inedible. The 3 star rating may include the pool/spa information, but understand that this is a public facility completely across town. Beware.

We had an amazing ski vacation and hope to return to Villa Emilia! Excellent location, walking distance to slopes, town, and sledding! Clean and comfortable rooms, quaint bar, and delicious food. Wonderful breakfast buffet, and first course dinner buffet! Something for everyone. The staff is warm and helpful.

I booked this last minute due to a plan change and arrived very late at night, well beyond the check-in time. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. If I remember correctly, her name is Rita. She assisted me from the moment I checked in, helped me carry my bags, and explained everything. Breakfast was also good.The room was nice and clean.

Cozy little inn with spectacular views....wonderful, friendly, accommodating staff. The yard is a great place to enjoy an aperol spritz or glass of wine and soak up the amazing mountain view. I would definitely return!
