Stayed at the Hotel Pontives and used it as a base to sightsee around this area. Very comfortable. A quaint lodge feeling. Our room was clean , big and had a verandah with table and chairs, which was nice to enjoy the views. Bed comfortable and bathroom not modern but clean. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast menu had a lot of variety, hot and cold. Ate in the restaurant and meals were tasty and everyday prices. Carparking out the front and bus stop into the centre at the end of the driveway. Enjoyed our three nights.

The facilities are excellent value for money and the staff is very pleasant and efficient. Special requests are handled with great flexibility. The location is ideal for guests with cars who would like to use the very elaborate public buses from time to time as the bus stop is just around the corner.

Don't go with your dog! We had a four night stay there in June 2023 and were charged 80(!) Euros for our pooch's stay. I have no idea why? She didn't eat any of their food (not even a biscuit was offered), no dog bed was provided, she wasn't even allowed in the restaurant, she didn't break anything in the room. When I was presented with this on our bill, I queried it. I understood there to be a 20 Euros charge per visit but not per night. I was told that the room would need to be cleaned which I accept. But it wouldn't be 4 times dirtier than the first night after 4 nights. When I said that I was unhappy to pay this, I was threatened with being arrested by the police. Very good customer service I must say!! So when they say they are dog friendly, they are not. They are just out to get your money and fleece you for taking your dog to their hotel.

I was there for 5 days, very nice breakfast, a small but clean room and bath with a window, very good breakfast, and extremely friendly staff. Quiet, nice view. A fantastic value for the price. Ample parking, Busstation to Ortisei very neea. Also good food for lunch and dinner. Fair prices.

A very unpleasant experience. As camp guests, we wanted to have dinner and waited for the waiter for half an hour, the guests who came after us had already eaten. When we ordered, the waiter forgot our order. After more than an hour we wanted to settle the drink bill and when we pointed this out to him he was extremely rude. Payment for the camp without a bill and it does not have showers, it is only possible to use the toilet during the restaurant's working hours.

Far from the slopes, the structure needs a review, the food is good and clean despite the signs of aging. We were cold and they gave us an extra heater and blankets which we were comfortable with. They immediately replaced a vacuum cleaner. The bathroom is spotless but taking a shower without a curtain and in the tub is not comfortable. Doctor Silvia and Amer are very kind and are the reason why I gave three stars instead of two. Given the choice next time I would go elsewhere.
