We have spent several Christmas weeks at this lovely hotel. The hotel is located on the sunny side of Ortisei and we do wake up in the mornings to a beautiful view. The rooms are spacious and very nice, and we do appreciate the food served. The hotel is big enough to give us all the facilities we need, but "small" enough to secure a familiar charm with Andrea and Markus as our attentive, nice and professional hosts. We are looking forward to spending the 2024 Christmas week at this hotel in a couple of months!

Cozy, family run hotel with lovely woodwork throughout. Bus stop outside hotel, but free parking was very convenient. Pool/sauna/steam room was a relaxing component. We enjoyed table tennis in the game room. Salad buffet at dinner and breakfast buffet were very good. Fool selection was varied, with Bavarian flair. Rooms, though a bit dimly lit, were very clean. We enjoyed the Mountain views from our balcony.

A lovely family hotel with a cosy ambiance. We had the room with a view over the mountains, which is breathtaking. The food and wines are amazing. The staff is very friendly. We will certainly book again. Ortisei is the perfect place if you want to ski the Seceda (to Ortisei and Sankt Christina) and the Seiser Alm. Of course you can also go to the Sella Ronda, this is a bit further but also very doable. From the hotel you can take the bus to Ortisei, it goes every 30 minutes in the morning and afternoon. It will drop you off at the gondolas. Works great. We really recommend this stay!

We visited this hotel before Covid-19 and all the lockdown misery. We enjoyed our stay and especially the room, the staff and the food was great. In fact we arranged and booked and payed a deposit to stay another period but because of Covid-19 everything was cancelled. We helped the family by leaving our deposit with them and hoped for the best. After 2 1/2 year we planned our trip BUT this time my husband got rather sick and was not able to travel at all. All my compliments to the family Piccolruaz: they gave us a refund so when my husband is feeling better and able to travel, we still have our voucher. I think this is such a very nice way how to make your customers happy!

We stayed me, my partner and the dog a week after mid-August in this hotel in Val Gardena in Ortisei for the first time, also because we like to change every year. The hotel's location overlooks the Sasso Lungo, fantastic, a couple of km outside the center of Ortisei, inconvenient if you want to go for a walk without using the car, but it's a choice... Hotel equipped with wellness, with a small hydromassage pool, sauna and Turkish bath, top after a day of excursions in wonderful places. Very varied and quality food, a waiter, always very kind.

I have been going on holiday to Ortisei for several years but this hotel has disappointed my expectations. The owner is really unpleasant and rude, he even tries to be nice but makes the situation worse. I do not recommend it also because of the location too isolated and the dinner rarely offers typical dishes of the South Tyrolean tradition

Beautiful town, beautiful hotel... the only problem is the owner with his "jokes", which he thinks are funny, but in reality they offend the customer. Another important detail is that even arriving on time for dinner, sometimes you don't find the buffet complete. Finally, I would recommend wrapping the toothpicks individually instead of leaving them loose.
