We decided on our Italy trip rather last minute (3 weeks before) and had limited choices of hotel in Orvieto. The initial impression was underwhelming, modest reception area and room with basic furnishing. The room was spacious, compared with the one we stayed in Rome, but the shower room was really tight! Beds were comfortable. Breakfast spread was basic and not what we cared to have while on holiday so we ate out after first day. We note there are many small nicer looking hotels nearer to the Duomo if one makes advance bookings. Having said that, we grew to appreciate the helpful service of the managers (we reckon it's a family run hotel) and their friendliness and would recommend to those looking for hotel within their budget. Frankly, it doesn't matter too much as we typically spend little time in our room.

This hotel is perfect!it is quiet, clean, has a great location, perfect Wi-Fi and the best staff in Italy. Maria, Piero, and JR are very helpful and friendly and go out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The price is very reasonable and the free breakfast is complete. We have been coming here since 2007, and in 2007 we came with children, who also liked the hotel.

Lovely, very comfortable and sparklingly clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable for a twin bed and the pillow was also. Hot shower with good water pressure. Friendly service from well attended front desk. Charming location on a quiet street. Good breakfast. Almost 5 stars in my rating system.

This lovely little hotel was perfect: great beds, exceptionally clean, very friendly and professional staff, free breakfast with proper barista made coffee, located in a very quiet yet really convenient part of Orvieto. We stayed 6 nights here and slept better here than any other hotel or apartment in the past 5 weeks in Europe. Highly recommended!!

very welcoming hotel, comfortable and clean rooms, excellent central location for visiting the wonderful center of Orvieto, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, good coffee, highly recommended for those who want to spend a nice holiday!

Good hotel, value for money. Large, comfortable, new and quiet room. View of the Duomo. The only flaw is that the windows cannot be darkened. Very friendly staff. Very central location. Breakfast could be improved, but the cakes were very good.

Structure located in a central enough position to visit the city. Large and clean room. Courteous staff who advised us on how to get around the city and where to go for dinner. The only thing I didn't like and which I would recommend changing was the small and dark breakfast room. However, the structure is recommended.

Siamo state ospiti dell'Hotel Valentino di Orvieto nel ponte di Pasqua, albergo molto accogliente, camera pulita, comoda e silenziosa. Posizione centralissima, nel centro storico, a poca distanza dal Duomo, dal Pozzo di San Patrizio e dalle altre bellezze di Orvieto. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Parcheggio a pagamento, ma assolutamente conveniente.Colazione ricca di dolci e salato. Ci torneremo sicuramente per proseguire la scoperta di Orvieto!
