Sunset Beach Resort

We rented the 3/2 house and 5 plex for a family reunion. 22 people. We were very pleased with Jada, the manager, who did her very best to answer our many questions even after hours. She has done a great job of thinking of most everything. Laundry is included. Boats were available to rent close by. We can definitely recommend this resort for a group or individuals. The value is incredible.

I’ve been coming to the resort since 2007 Thing’s had really gotten bad around the resort about 3 or 4 years ago. We left and went to another resort. This fall we came back , the transformation is amazing. We will be back in the spring.

I would recommend getting a house closer to your boat slip. That's a long walk up hill. The house was great and clean! Kathleen is awesome. Bar and restaurant right across the cove is awesome as well.

Very nice and helpful lady in the office. Super friendly and cheerful! Our room was super clean and had a great view! Loved being able to walk right out to the water, you are just steps away here. Location, location, location! This place was close to everything. Will definitely be back!

We love our stays at Sunset Beach Resort! The cabins are perfect for our stays, very cozy and clean , in the perfect location for us with fuel and entertainment nearby. The staff is very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic! Great, kind, knowledgeable people! Spacious, clean houses, rooms, and grounds. Hilly, lots of stairs (#4 - 7 to pool), but gorgeous view of lake and pool! #17 & #18 can easily house 10 persons comfortably. Blankets and pillows were thin, but plenty extra provided for comfort and warmth. Thin walls and floors and ceilings; no carpeting and lots of echos, but without hesitation would come back to stay for a vacation again! Wasn't expecting 90° weather, so pool was kept open longer than normal season for our stay by request and without hesitation. Also rented a boat at the docks for reasonable price and enjoyed a day on the lake! Everyone was so kind and trusting of our group. They remained flexible and open to suggestions for their upcoming renovations to include a fire pit on the beach and perhaps extend the beach front a little more (15x7 feet, maybe?).
