The Westin Osaka

Umeda
The location is quite good. Next to the Umeda Sky Building so it’s easy to find. However it’s a 5-10 min walk to the big department store, but the walk is okay. There is a shuttle bus service which makes it very nice also. The room is quite big and of course everything was nice and clean. The breakfast was amazing! I love the hotel and would stay again!

Fantastic Stay in a Perfect Location I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel and couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The hotel is situated in an ideal location, just steps away from major attractions, shopping, and great restaurants, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed during my stay. The amenities were top-notch, including a lovely on-site restaurant and fitness center. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Its combination of excellent service, modern comfort, and unbeatable location made for a memorable stay!
The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan

Osaka Bay
Hotel is at the entrance to Universal, you can also buy tickets to the park at the hotel lobby. Great hotel for families. Probably the best location after having a long day at universal park you can come back to the hotel within minutes from leaving the park gate.

Shinsaibashi/Namba/Yotsubashi
We were family of 6, 4 adults and 2 kids. We had a one bedroom suite and one studio, and stayed for 6 nights. Everything was fine except the 2 rooms were floors apart, reception lady said she could not put the 2 rooms in the same floor. We have breakfasts for the whole trip, and really enjoy the stay.
Hotel Plaza Osaka

Shin-Osaka/Esaka/Juso
Stayed here for 4 nights as it offered good value. The location is good, a 5-10min walk from Juso station or 30mins walk across a long bridge to Umeda. There are plenty of shops & restaurants in the local area and we enjoyed good food nearby several times. The 'compact' room is certainly small, particularly the bathroom, but it was manageable. The window opens to allow fresh air and there is an aircon unit for heating and cooling (even if the card explaining how it works is for a different version!). The beds were reasonably comfortable but nothing special. There was a good sized fridge in the room for keeping supplies. Everything was cleaned well each day. The shower was good although the water system in the bathroom was really noisy especially after flushing the toilet. The room was generally quiet but there was some sustained noise from other guests in the corridor in the evening and morning as the hotel had regular tour groups through the week and didn't seem to keep an area clear for other guests. We eat elsewhere so didn't try the breakfast or restaurant. We would consider the hotel again but probably with a standard sized room.
Candeo Hotels Osaka the Tower

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi
Overall evaluation: I booked the hotel after reading the reviews on Ctrip. The hotel is in a very good location, right between Shinsaibashi and Umeda. If you are not tired, you can walk there. The office building where the hotel is located is very tall and grand. The price is not expensive, and it is cost-effective. However, there are the following problems: 1. The overall environment is very noisy. The hotel lobby is located on the 17th floor, like a big inn, full of guests waiting to check in and check out with luggage. The reception staff and arrangements are insufficient, and the experience is extremely poor. 2. Many waiters and drivers are of Indian descent. Compared with other Japanese hotels I stayed in, they have poor service awareness, stiff movements, and no intimacy. 3. The breakfast environment is good, but the food is very poor. The bread and pastries are extremely cheap factory goods. There are a lot of people eating, and the experience is very poor. 4. The hotel hygiene is average, and I didn't dare to go to the public bathroom.
