Four Points Flex by Sheraton Osaka Umeda

Positive: Excellent location! Loved the area with fantastic food options (Blue Bottle, ramen, Sambangai food court) and plenty to do. Fun this area. Negative: Housekeeping needs improvement. We requested cleaning via the door sign, but were woken by a 9:00 AM knock (after late arrival). No cleaning occurred later despite requesting it. When raised, reception cited eco-policy rudely, offering no solutions for smelly trash (like bags or disposal info) or towel replacement. Requesting service shouldn't mean inflexible timing or refusal to address basic needs. Key Issues: 1. Inflexible cleaning timing after request. 2. No follow-up after missed cleaning. 3. Rude reception, no practical solutions offered. 4. Basic amenities (trash/towels) not addressed under "eco" policy.

Checked in 19 and out 24 Jan. It's a typical Japan hotel with small room size. Despite the size, and window with no view, it's well equipped. Room is cleaned only after 3 days and not daily room cleaning service. I'm ok with this but I asked for changed towels from reception on 3rd day with no room service. Location is convenient and walking distance to Yodoyobashi and the airport limousine bus station (very important); around 10 mins. Yayoi, Japanese restaurant, provides breakfast set menu with limited items on buffet style. Not fantastic but simple break fast staple. Family Mart is across the street. Water dispenser is outside the room. Drip coffee is provided and I enjoyed. Reception personnel could speak English and easy communication. Happy and will stay again! Oh. This hotel has air conditioning, unlike some hotels where air conditioning was turned off winter season.

Room for first night was not good, as could not see through window and the air conditioner temperature cannot be adjusted. Staff was helpful in changing the room for subsequent nights, and the room after changinv to the side facing the rail tracks was good. Room lighting is a bit too dark but the room is very sound-proof. Would be good if they provided disposable slippers.

Hotel is good for a 3-star hotel. Room and toilet are clean. Room equipment are all in good condition. Not many facilities except for a simple restaurant at the ground floor. The room window is frosted glass which cannot see through. Most probably because the view is not good as my room is facing an adjacent building and some construction site.

Good Location, near to train and metro station. Allow us to store our luggage till we are back 2 days later. This is simple, no frills hotel.
