You can get a much better AirBnB for a much cheaper price. The installations were dirty and a bit greasy, there’s an unpleasant smell that lingers around the whole building. The bed was mysteriously stained and the room looks rough especially for the price. The elevator looks awful.
The locations is great but I can assure you you can find so many more in this same area.
Maybe get this if you are a solo traveler but I think there are still so many better options. The staff was nice.

Nice hostel. Good location. You have to make your own bed, which was something a bit unexpected. But solid place.

Good: The staff are super friendly, the dorms and bathroom seem clean, it’s quiet at night. It’s about 8 min walk from Hommachi station
Bad: the kitchen area is pretty gross, the fridge especially looked like it hadn’t had a deep clean in a long time; there is no sink to wash dishes so you have to use the bathroom. Also the rooms get pretty cold at night so make sure you have layers.
Mention: the hot water is by a tank, so if lots of people use before you or someone has a super long shower…the water is artic cold. They are really sweet about it though and can tell you if the waters okay if you go downstairs with any issues.

Loved my stay! When you spend the day discovering the city, all you need is a comfortable place to sleep, and I got exactly that. The rooms were large, and the beds were comfortable. I was also satisfied with the cleanliness of the communal bathrooms. Another important thing is that the hostel is easy to find.

Common area is really small and could be more clean as you get 2 sheets and I’m not sure if they change mattress sheet covers, you just have to put it yourself
