Top 5-Star Hotels in Osaka

This is an old school 1980s style 5 star hotel with many restaurants and some branded boutiques located in the building. Service staff are polite and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Rihga!

Great location. This hotel is fairly central to all of the scenic sights and tourist areas. It is near the M20 railway line and only 2 stops from Namba station. The breakfast was worth the money 💰. We will book again.

We stayed 6 nights at Sheraton , first 3 nights were upgraded to premium room but the other 3 nights after we back from Kyoto was to normal room , however they have provided everything we need eg like shower chair fir elderly . Very good and thoughtful services , central location and can go everywhere easily . Many eateries n Kintetsu departmental stores n Hihi town n Newly yufura shopping ctr all around the hotel .

********** I booked 4 night (6/7-10/7) through Trip.com under the name of Chung chi ming with all payment made.  On the date of check in, my wife paid ¥1800 tax by Standard Chartered CX credit card.   However, upon receipt of monthly statement of credit card, I found that there was an unauthorised and unknown charge of ¥4300 without our notice or approval.  I was told that the ¥4300 was arisen from coffee consumption in the hotel but I didn't consume any. Bearing in mind that the credit card transaction was made without any notification or approval. It was unauthorised access to my credit card account and might be liable to criminal offence. I am going to write my comment to your hotel. Please sort out this matter or I will approach my bank or even police department to seek assistance. Its all about matter of principle. Eventually tthe the hotel found out that it was caused by system error which was the outstanding bill of previous guest. The loophole was that the hotel could charge guest at anytime without any notification or prior approval which posed a risk to customers. Very poor management and I need to dusclose this malpractice through various media platforms. I should also blame the negligence of bank card centre.

I’ve stayed here more times than I can remember. Just shows how much I like the IC. The hotel continues to deliver on service, cleanliness and location. With the opening of the Grand Green Osaka there are even more shops, restaurants and greenery around the hotel. It’s a big shame though that with the new office and hotels towers having come up, rooms facing the west, which in the past had the best views of the Umeda Sky Building and the Yodo River now has obstructed views.

The hotel is located at central Osaka Station area, is easy to go everywhere from the hotel. The room has a decent size but some facilities are quite old. Swimming pool is not the cleanest I’ve seen for Hilton ones.

To those who mentioned about the lugging of suitcase up stairs to reach hotel, fret not. There are 2 subway lines that can reach the hotel. Nearer one is the sakaisuji line (brown) and the other is Midosuji line (red). From Osaka Station, you can only change to the Midosuji line and get off at Honmachi Station. Head towards exit 9. As you walk you should see the staircase of exit 9, where many have lugged the suitcases up. Just before reaching exit 9, there is an entrance to a building on left, with lifts. Take the lift to first floor. Then exit the building, turn left and round the corner of the building, turn left again. Head on straight over a few blocks. After you see 7 eleven on your left, you should see the entrance to the hotel on your left after crossing one more small lane. Then, you can refer to the YouTube online to see the entrance to the hotel. Hotel is efficient, and discreet. If you are busy with an itinerary outside, it is great to come back to a clean, cosy room. Housekeeping is quite rigorous, so much so that I felt compelled to vacate the room to accommodate the housekeeping services. The water pressure is very good and bed is comfortable. Would be good if bathrobes were provided though. Also, please change the teaspoons provided in the room. It does not give a good first impression of the hotel. In all, the hotel satisfied my expectations.

I arrived at 2:00 PM to check in, but was told my room wasn't ready and to come back at 3:00 PM.  I decided to have afternoon tea in the lounge.  There were plenty of empty seats visible, but I was informed it was fully booked.  So, we went to the bar for coffee, but nothing there appealed to us.  At 3:00 PM, I returned to check in, only to be told the room would be ready at 3:30 PM.  However, the concierge was very patient and helpful, booking a restaurant for us, and the view from the room made up for the delays.

Excellent service, very good breakfast with wide choices, Western and Japanese. Although hotel is old, it is very clean and well maintained, with excellent amenities. Just a short walk to the Osaka castle and its surroundings. We can see the castle from our room. Getting around is easy and the closest station is Osakajokoen Station by JR line, and it is just one stop away to the metro network. Good thing is the airport transfers by limousine bus right outside the hotel. Note that there are only two departure time at 8:10 and 10:10 am if you are heading your Kansai airport.

What an exceptional hotel! The value for money is outstanding, especially given its location and the high quality of the rooms. Every aspect of this place exceeds even the already high Japanese standards. A nice touch was the incredibly comfortable pyjamas provided. Highly recommended!
