Nikko properties in Osaka

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Daimaru department store and Shinsaibashi shopping street are just across the road, making it incredibly convenient for dining and shopping. There are tons of delicious food options nearby. The teppanyaki restaurant on the third floor of the hotel is good. While the buffet breakfast on the second floor doesn't have a huge variety, the quality is excellent. Guests can ask the front desk for breakfast coupons, which cost 3600 JPY per person. All the restaurants on the B2 level are also delicious, and the service is great. My room had a good view, facing Daimaru directly. There were always Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, and you can buy airport bus tickets in the lobby. The room itself was a bit dated, possibly because I booked a lower-grade room, but it was functional. The shower in the bathroom had excellent water pressure, which was very refreshing – a crucial detail when traveling. The downsides were that the toilet flush button was too small and required a lot of force to press. Also, either the duvet insert or the mattress in the room had a slight, but not overwhelming, odor, perhaps due to age. For the first two days of my stay, I felt itchy while sleeping, and woke up one morning with a very itchy bite on my ankle. The fabric chairs and sofa also looked a bit dirty. I hope the hotel can improve on these aspects. I wonder if staying in a higher-grade room next time would be better.

This hotel was a great choice for a late-night arrival. It's located right on the second floor of the airport, and you can get there directly via a connecting walkway. This saved me the hassle of taking a bus or train after my flight. While the room's decor was a bit dated, it didn't feel old, and the size was perfectly adequate – I could easily open two suitcases. Even though it's next to the airport, the soundproofing was excellent. After crossing the walkway, there's a Lawson convenience store, and the train station is conveniently located between the airport and the hotel via the same walkway. Very convenient!
