The hotel staff are very friendly and they also provide airport pick-up and drop-off services! But if you come to Amami and don’t have a car, it’s really inconvenient to travel. But you can ask the hotel to help you book a sightseeing taxi. Everyone should try to avoid the rainy season in June. It rains every day, but we were lucky enough to have a sunny day. The hotel has a lawn to watch the starry sky, which is so beautiful!

This was the best island accommodation I have ever experienced. The location is perfect for enjoying beautiful seaside views and snorkeling. Right in the heart of Kumasaki Beach, I could reach the coral reefs in just five minutes. I was even lucky enough to see a turtle while snorkeling. The water quality is amazing—incredibly clear and full of beautiful colors. The on-site restaurant, Forest, is also worth mentioning. I ended up having all my meals there because the food was consistently excellent. I tried almost everything on the menu and enjoyed every dish. The kitchen does a wonderful job of balancing local flavors with Western-style cuisine. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and smiling. The only small issue was that the curtains in my room were a bit thin, so the morning sun would wake me up early. Other than that, it was a flawless stay.

AMAZING HOTEL with a beautiful view. The rooms are very spacious and clean and has a balcony that looks over the ocean. The washrooms are huge with both bath tub, shower and traditional shower options. It’s located in a peaceful area and is the perfect place to relax. They are connected to Native Sea Dive shop and will pick you up for snorkeling and other activities. The staff are warm and helpful. I decided to get breakfast and dinner included. The food is very good and the dinner is a 6-7 course meal. Well worth the money. If you don’t have a car, which I didn’t make sure to get the meals included as the next place to walk to is 15 mins away. They also pick you up and drop you off at the airport. There is self serve laundry that is 300 yen and 100 yen for drying. I’m already planning my next trip back. Highly recommend. Amami island is stunning!

The hotel is very close to the pier, about 6-8 kilometers from the airport, and free shuttle service will be provided. Breakfast is reserved before 21:00 the night before 700 yen. There are many restaurants and izakayas around, and the island buses often pass by and the transportation is convenient. The room is small but decent. The Japanese eldest sister in the restaurant was very warm and polite and impressed. One of the guest rooms is a female compatriot from Guilin. It is really fun to be on such a deserted island.

I was very satisfied with the service and location, but it was a shame that there were a few mosquitoes in the room. It would have been nice if they provided lotion and milky lotion.

I think the location is good because you can see the sea from the room. Breakfast was delicious. The room is small, but it's okay if you just sleep.

A great beach vacation location. It is a good stay for one or two nights. The local restaurants and cafes provide ample opportunities for one or two days. We got here using a taxi, as our ferry arrived too late on the first night. Taking the public bus back is no problem. But being at this location without a car results in lots of walking. It is a better place to stay if you are getting around by car.

The room was cleaned every day and all the staff were happy to respond with a smile. It was nice to see the sea from the window, but the weather was bad for 3 days I stayed, so I'm sorry I couldn't see the Asahi.

I was allowed to use it on a business trip. It was the first time in Tokunoshima, so I felt unique about road conditions and how to park cars. The hotel staff was politely taught me the location of the parking lot and was saved I think it's a general business hotel in Tokunoshima. The building looks old, but it was clean and I didn't care. I stayed in the corner room on the east side of the first, but the Asahi came in from the window where the sea on the east side was visible in the morning. Qing 々 I felt like a tropical country.
