Checking in was great with dinner served on arrival, gold room is spacious and a view of mt Fuji. Breakfast was a big spread but all Japanese options. Second night dinner however the prawn wasn't fresh and the chef tried all means to defend himself. There's a 150 yen charge per person per day for use of the onsen which is not included in the booking. Please take note

we can see mt fuji from our room .. staff are attentive and friendly . two stories apartment in Japanese style , clean and cozy . food are excellent too ! love it !

We like to thank and applaude the staffs and chef that took good care of us during our stay at Hakai Konohanakan.
The services and amenities provided were top notch and the staffs were very thoughtful in making sure that we were well taken care of.
Not to mention, the omakase is of really good quality and variety. Every day was a new experience with new dishes! Really well done on the chef and staffs part.
Although the location maybe abit secluded, we like to appluade the staff effort in offering to arrange a taxi for us to take us to a location.
As the bus services here may be a little unreliable, if your itinerary is packed with 3 to 4 places for the day, we recommand to book a chartered services for at least a day so you can go around freely from one end to the other.
We were lucky to have a staff that speaks Mandarin but nevertheless, even if the staff can't speak Mandarin or understands English, they take an effort to explain and understand you through translation apps.
All in all, we have no regrets in booking and staying here. Would highly recommend to stay here if your itinerary revolves around lake Yamanaka as it is only a 10 minute drive away! Not to mention a step outside and you can see mount fuji!

The host who received us was very kind and beautiful. The original check-in time was between 3 PM and 7 PM, but we arrived at 9 PM because we were playing at the nearby Fuji-Q Highland. Even though we arrived late, we were warmly welcomed. Since we missed dinner, the host personally drove us to a nearby convenience store. The service was excellent. As compensation for missing dinner, breakfast was very generous and delicious. The environment was particularly good, and the room was very clean and tidy. We were very tired from playing all day, but after soaking in the hot spring, we felt completely refreshed. It was very comfortable. This was a very worthwhile experience, and I highly recommend it!

The hotel service is very good and considerate. We checked the last dinner time before departure and the reply was 7:30 pm, but our flight was delayed and we encountered a traffic jam on the road! We contacted the hotel halfway and we would arrive at 8:30. In order to give us the best quality dinner, the hotel chef was willing to wait until 8:30 to provide us with dinner! We are very grateful to all the hotel staff, everyone was so nice!
