Mizusawa Grand Hotel

The lobby and entrance were dark and it was difficult to enter. The location was easy to find, so it was a shame. The front desk was on the second floor, which was inconvenient and there was no sign, so it was difficult to find.

The hotel looks nice on the outside, but the inside is very old. A room with two small beds costs 120,000 yen per night, including breakfast. It's more expensive than average, but the facilities are old, and the hotel front desk is on the 2nd floor, but the elevator always stops on the 2nd floor. Whether you go up or down, it always stops during the day or at night. You have to run into the hotel front desk staff. You should only run into them once or twice. I totally don't recommend this for people who are shy or couples who are careful about running into people. This is a hotel you never want to go to again.

I stayed here while sightseeing in Iwate. It was a cheap stay as it was a one-night stay without meals. I was traveling by car so I was grateful for the free parking. The parking lot was a little hard to find. The man guiding me was quite kind. The room was small and simple, but the stains on the walls and floors were a little noticeable. The washlet in the toilet was a knob-turning type instead of a button, and it was located on the left side instead of the right, so it was difficult to use. There are also restaurants and family restaurants that are open early in the morning along the nearby national highway, so if you are traveling by car, you don't need to worry about meals.
