Sehr schönes Hotel aus den 30iger-Jahren. Freundliches, lösungsorientiertes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Top Lage. Schöne grosse Zimmer. Da Alter des Hotels hat seine Tücken. Zum Teil kann man die schön grossen Fenster nicht öffnen und es ist sehr ringhörig. Wir waren zwei Nächte da und konnten wegen einer grossen Gruppe junger Sportler (es fand ein Fussball-Turnier statt), welche durchgehend Party im Zimmer machten, sehr schlecht schlafen. Das Hotelmanagement hat sich dafür bei uns in aller Form entschuldigt und uns erklärt, dass sie trotz Security-Einsatz die Situation nicht besser in den Griff bekommen konnten. Fazit! Das Hotel empfehlen wir sehr gerne.

I would describe it as faded glory.. Breakfast was fine. Room with a view - perfect Cleaning room service was dramatic Poor bathroom/toilet conditions information map was hided away in a slide ! This should be on the desk or table as this is important information for the residents No bar/pub in the hotel, only the restaurant, open till 22.00 hrs in the evening. For this type of hotel insufficient. In this respect, the price quality rate was poor... Sorry, can't give a better review...

I stayed here with my children and their families to celebrate my 70th birthday. This is a very beautiful hotel in a wonderful style. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpul. The hotel is extremely well located just in front of the beach. The breakfast buffet was abundant and exquisite. One minor: The lack of airconditioning

Great location, nice view on the Beach. Beds were very comfy! Breakfast was a bit pricy but very complete and good. Airco would have been nice, because the room was very warm. Shower in the bath was a bit tight but we managed. 15 min walk to the center of Oostende (~1 km). Boulevard is great, lots of nice places to eat.

Spacious and clean. Comfy bed. Breakfast was superb. On the beach front at the quiet part of the beach. Reception and breakfast service was great. Easy access from Ostend train station even without car. We took the tram at Ostend train station and get off after 2 stops. Will come back.

This place is beautiful old glory. An absolute treasure. Royal rooms, magnificent views, great food, friendly and professional people. All round perfectly splendid. Makes you feel ritch even for one day. We come here every year and hopefully will for many more years.
