Time well spent in this cozy hotel! We were exhausted from the flight and the staff there was very welcoming! Very close to the city center and all the popular sightseeings. The breakfast was on point and the restaurant serves traditional bulgarian cuisine which we enjoyed. Recommend!

We were 2 couples staying at Hotel Europe for 3 nights. Arrival in the evening and checking in was seamless. However when we asked the night staff at the reception desk for extra tea/coffee, he was very rude and said we need to buy our own supplies. Room service would only replenish 2 coffee sachets, 2 teabags and 2 sachets of cream per 24 hours. I have never come across any hotel that rations tea/coffee to guests. It almost felt like we were made to beg for the drinks. There were some positives to the hotel. The location is ideal. Walking distance from the beach and in the heart of the shopping centre. The railway station was walking distance too, as we took a trip to Brugee. On the first morning for breakfast, the scrambled eggs were placed in the food warmer tray next to bacon slices. Being Muslim, we asked the staff if we could have scrambled eggs prepared separately. Marc, the chef, came out and straightaway arranged this for us. The following 2 mornings, we were offered scrambled eggs, which was really nice. Heidi the front desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful too. The service offered nowhere near matched the price. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The night staff need to be trained to improve on their customer service skills!

Unpleasant and dishonest... During a weekend in Ostend, we stayed at Hotel Europe. The staff at the reception are unfriendly. To punctuate everything, we left a shirt and two jackets in the bedroom wardrobe when we left. We went back to school in the afternoon and the clothes disappeared. We felt like we were annoying the receptionist. I'm still waiting for management to get back to me after 3 emails and a message... For a 4 star, it's a shame. Don't go there...

175 euros per night for a dirty and dilapidated standard room. Mold, toiletries thrown down the sink instead of being put away. The bed is half made, cushions overturned. A pair of socks found in the wardrobe. A mediocre lunch. , ...

Accueil et service bien Hotel très vieillissant Salle de bain vieille et pas de pression d’eau plus le temps pour avoir eau chaude .catastrophe Insonorisation inexistante, ascenseur bruillant ,bruits des étages supérieur. Bon déjeuner par contre locaux trop petit , impossible de bouger et de de servir convenablement. Wellness..... très très petit , sale des cheveux partout , des gens qui y viennent en chaussures ( traces de pas) Vestiaire rudimentaire ,impossible de poser les affaires ..... Concernant les étoiles, à part le service du personnel impeccable, le reste est à revoir....

Cet hôtel ne vaut pas 4 étoiles mais plutôt 3. En effet, la décoration est assez désuette. Pour avoir une chambre agréable, il faut prendre la suite junior. Cependant, les chambres sont très mal éclairées. Le prix normal est surfait. Par contre, nous avons eu une promotion par TUI 1 nuit payante et une gratuite et cela vaut le prix de la promotion sinon pas intéressant. Concernant la piscine, elle est assez froide et ce n'est pas très agréable. Le parking est très très étroit et il faut être très prudent en manoeuvrant. Le petit déjeuner est correct et de bonne qualité. Le personnel très sympathique.

J'aurais du lire les commentaires avant de réserver. Chambre petite, sombre, avec papier peint qui se décolle, salle de bains minuscule, joints.., moisissures, on est loin d'un quatre étoile ....Le welness est correct mais sans plus, l'emplacement et le petit déjeuner sauve du désastre total...

Suite geboekt: 269 euro per nacht (excl parkeren) Badkamer erg vuil: zwarte schimmel in de douche Behang komt los van de muur Stoffen vloerbekleding hangt ook los. Vocht thv het dakraam waar het bed onder stond. Ontbijt beperkt en eerder refterachtig. Na contact te hebben opgenomen met het hotel over de slecht staat van de kamer en hygiëne mochten we aan 20% korting nog eens komen. In zo een vuil hol, nee danku.

Très bien reçu on a une dame qui est venue nous demander si on voulait un café ou une bouteille d eau, la chambre était très propre. Service au bar sympathique. Et déjeuner au top du top merci beaucoup pour ce séjour. Je le recommande. Et un merci particulier d avoir mis ma valise en sécurité.
