The hotel is in dire need of repair, my bathroom was falling apart. The pillows were hard has rocks, and there is no elevator. The dinner was very good but they had limited condiments and old olive oil. The interior lights in the hallways worked or didn't, the exterior was in need of an update and repair. The owners are waiting for the state to okay their permits to renovate since it is an historical hotel. Very hospitable staff will do anything for you.

We recently stayed at the Baita Del Re and had an incredible time. The hotel is in an idyllic location nestled in the foothills of the Vesuvio National Park and the views overlooking the nearby towns and mountains are absolutely amazing. By the end of our stay we came to know most of the family who run the hotel by name as they were all so warm, welcoming and friendly and they could not have done more to make our time there enjoyable. The on-site restaurant, run by Chef Nunzio, provided us with easily the best food we have ever eaten. If we could rate higher than a 5, we would. Thank you all so much for an amazing stay.

Very nice personnel. It is a family run hotel. The owner is very attentioned to his hosts. The food is delicious. The only inconvenient, hotel is 10mn drive from Ottanavio train station. Hotel transfers necessary without a car. Good stay overall

Ieri sono stata con la mia famiglia in questo bellissimo posto dal panorama mozzafiato per non parlare dello staff molto accogliente soprattutto la Sig. Luisa alla reception che ci ha coccolati dall’inizio fino alla fine… Nunzio lo chef che ci ha deliziato con le sue ricette…mmm delle leccornie. Tutto bellissimo grazie e sicuramente torneremo volentieri 🩷

Abbiamo festeggiato un evento dell'Associazione Meridiani. davvero un'accoglienza impaccabile e pietanze eccellenti. Servizio impeccabile. Siamo stati accolti con familiarità e siamo davvero rimasti contenti per la serata. Ritorneremo perchè siamo stati trattati bene e anche il prezzo ha soddisfatto le nostre esigenze. siamo ritornati per ulteriori ricorrenze e oramai siamo di casa e questa stupenda location è diventata il nostro HQ. Dal 28 al 30 agosto siamo felici di realizzare tre incontri della rassegna nazionale dell'editoria "Un libro sotto le stelle". Grazie e a presto vederci

Ho avuto modo di conoscere la struttura per un viaggio a Napoli lo scorso dicembre 2023, a pochi km si trova ottaviano e questa splendida struttura. All'arrivo si nota subito la qualità dei servizi, i comfort delle camere, la pulizia e quanto ci possa essere a disposizione x passare una splendida vacanza con la propria famiglia. Una volta a tavola si incontra il buon gusto per sfatare il proprio palato, la raffinatezza e particolaritá dei piatti consigliati, la simpatia e professionalità del titolare nonchè chef Nunzio che ci ha deliziati per ogni istante. Si vede che ci mette molto impegno e passione per soddisfare la clientela e offrire il meglio Un caloroso saluto dal Salento, sicuramente ritorneremo e faremo nuovamente tappa in questo angolo di paradiso!

Location meravigliosa alla base del Vesuvio, vista incantevole. Camere confortevoli con ogni tipo di servizio. Cucina da “stella” michelin, curata in ogni dettaglio. Nunzio, il titolare, persona tuttofare, simpatico, premuroso ed ospitale come del resto tutto lo STAFF! Torneró sicuramente! Grazie!
