I can't praise the service enough. The hotel has all the necessary conveniences and is in a central location. You may find it useful to know that some of the rooms have windows facing the minaret tower, so you definitely can't miss prayer times.

An excellent small hotel. Good breakfast (we didn't eat any other meals there) and friendly helpful staff. Great location 5 minutes from the main square, and 5 minutes from a Carrefour where you can buy anything you need (including beer, wine etc).

We stayed here for one night as part of our journey in Morocco. The hotel was nice and tidy, the rooms were spacious but a bit cold as it was the cold season. My friends enjoyed the food, for a vegetarian it was ok but not great. Here, as I saw in many other places in Morocco, there are no lifts but very steep chairs, so could be a bit challenging for physically impaired. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

The staff are very sweet. There is a small restaurant attached to the Riad so it's very convenient. The staff there are very kind too. Some towels by the pool would be great so you don't have to use your room towels

I arrived in Morocco on Nov 26, 2022, and flew out 24 days later. I stayed in maybe 12 different hotels, and Hotel Riad Amlal was among the best values; when my travels had me back in Ouarzazate a week later I selected this hotel a second time! My top reason for recommending this hotel: its great location. It's next to the walking street, and just one block from the (sometimes noisy) main boulevard. Most of us are visiting Morocco in order to experience the culture; staying in a compound on the outside of town is missing the point of our visit! But it's also nice to not be listening to car horns late into the night. This hotel's location was perfect for me, and probably will be perfect for you. Other aspects I liked: the friendly staff, and the popular restaurant downstairs.

I love this hotel. I just had my second stay there. The location can’t be beat — right downtown, near the souk. Much better location than the zone where lots of other hotels are. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with a friendly staff. It is non-pretentious, and is frequented by locals (unlike the many many tourist trap hotels in the area).

Beautiful riad in familiar atmosphere with very friendly people who make you feel welcome and at home immediately. Had a great stay there. Ideal place to discover the beautiful city of Ouarzazate. Great breakfast and pick up from the airport in the deep of the night. Hope to come back soon!

At first sight everything looks good, but if you read the comments, you will find that there are enthusiastic comments and bad comments. There are excellent standard rooms, as indicated by some travelers (we have seen them in photos), and dilapidated rooms. Basically we found out that there are 2 Hotels in the same Hotel. Unfortunately we (2 couples of friends) had the rooms booked by an organized tour and we could not choose the hotel or the room. Well, we have come across the worst rooms so our judgment can only refer to these rooms. Uncomfortable bed with short sheets, dusty blankets and furnishings, uncomfortable and dilapidated bathroom. Good dinner and breakfast. Nice staff. Advice for management: let guests know the situation before assigning the rooms in question, avoid negative comments like this. Greetings
